Alright you lot, for today I have something a little different.  The thing is, some of us remember fandom before this comm, and some joined just after the finale, and some have only just discovered the show...and just about every time I read the comments on this site I find new and unfamiliar faces (by faces, I of course mean usernames).  So I propose...(drumroll please)...a friending meme!

What got you into BSG/Kara&Lee? A few of my friends kept telling me I should watch the show, but I never listened to them. When I finally broke down and watched it, I immediately fell in love. And Kara and Lee had a magnetism that intrigued me from the start.

Favorite character(s): Kara, Baltar, Lee, Caprica Six, Adama

Favorite episode: Unfinished Business, You Can't Go Home Again

Favorite scene: "NO MORE MR. NICE GAIUS!" hahaha!

Other fandoms: Bones, The Office, The Hunger Games, Veronica Mars, Harry Potter, Kristen Stewart (shut up!)

What do you post on your journal? mostly real-life stuff about my friends, work, activities etc. with some fandom squee and the occasional video/photo/gif spamming.

Three random facts about you:
1. I get obsessed with tv shows verrry easily. And usually, I will watch an entire series marathon-style and talk about it incessantly while I'm watching it. Then, whenever it's over, I'll find something else to amuse me and that one will fade into the background. Bones, BSG, and Veronica Mars have been the only exceptions to this rule. It's a sickness really, and my friends constantly make fun of me for it.
2. I'm always late for everything (seriously, even when I try my hardest, something usually happens to make me late).
3. I really love playing volleyball - it makes me feel powerful and is usually the highlight of my week.

If you could meet any person (dead, alive, real, fictional) who would you choose? I know this is sentimental, but I would have to say my grandmother. She died when I was barely 2 years old, and there are tons of photos of us, but I just feel like I never really got the chance to meet her/get to know her. I love to hear stories about her; she just seemed like a really cool lady and I think we would have a lot in common now that I'm older.

Anything else you'd like to share?
I've only watched the series once (some episodes twice), and I've only just recently finished them all (I think it was late June/early July when I finished) so I don't feel anywhere near as knowledgeable as most of you here. However, I'd still love to participate in the fandom and learn more about the show/characters/fandom as a whole as I go along. Just be patient with me and remember that I'm a newb! :P
Oh, and in case you're wondering, I'm currently obsessed with The West Wing! :)
