Alright you lot, for today I have something a little different.  The thing is, some of us remember fandom before this comm, and some joined just after the finale, and some have only just discovered the show...and just about every time I read the comments on this site I find new and unfamiliar faces (by faces, I of course mean usernames).  So I propose...(drumroll please)...a friending meme!

Now, I've just taught myself how to do this code box thing so let's hope it works.  Anyway, you can copy and paste the following code into your comments.

What got you into BSG/Kara&Lee? My hub’s BBF was a big fan of the show and given our geeky streak we ended up getting both the mini and S1. It was love at first sight :D
Favorite character(s): I’d say Kara but I adore Lee, too (and I feel really protective of him since I got into fandom and saw so much Lee!hate). More than anything, though, I’d define myself as a K/L shipper.
Favorite episode: Unfinished Business.
Favorite scene: Mmmh, that’s so tough, I can’t choose. The KLG fight was the scene that turned me into a hardcore shipper and adore the delicious angst that was the UB boxing match, but I guess the extended brig scene remains my favourite pilots-related scene.
Other fandoms: My only real fandom is BSG, but I like FNL, Whedonverse, Harry Potter, Glee, LOTR, X-MEN…
What do you post on your journal? Fannish stuff, RL randomness.
Three random facts about you: I sorta speak Japanese, I am a geek, I am addicted to chocolate and coffee.
If you could meet any person (dead, alive, real, fictional) who would you choose? Kara Thrace, Haruki Murakami, Jane Austen, Elizabeth I… so many people!

I'd really like to visit Spain. I almost did twice, but the first time I kind of saw the border from a distance. The second time, I spent about 5 hours at Barajas airport. I guess third time is the charm, right?

Hee! I really hope you visit my country some day! I am kind of unpatriotic and not the biggest fan of the Spanish way of life, but I must admit that Spain is a lovely country to visit as a tourist. Also, if you come to Barcelona, just let me know, because I'll be delighted to be your personal tourist guide ;)

I know what you mean about feeling kind of unpatriotic. I have a perpetual love/hate relationship with my own country. I do hope to visit Spain one day. Then we may go out for some tapas. ;)

My mental "friendsfic" had you as a French-Canadian woman who was both a high-stakes trader on the TSE, as well as a computer whiz. In this fictional CosetteFeraud AU life, you were a jet-setter who partied it up on weekends in New York, but spent part of each summer at her lake-side cottage outside Montreal.
