Hey, I know I said I was going to post a two day thing? Eh... I changed my mind! :D I'm not sure if we've done this one before but I figured I'm going to go for it anyways. Tomorrow's post is going to come a little bit late in the day and I might do the two-day challenge then, because it's a little involved and takes a bit more time.

Anyways, what are we venting at Joe's about?

Unpopular Pilots (and other Fandom) Opinions.

I thought some of these might be coming up since we've been thinking so much about the scenes and the voting. Ever feel alone in what you think? Are you afraid to speak your mind sometimes because the other shippers don't agree with your opinion? Well pull up a barstool, get a drink, and spill it. Bartenders are, of course, the everyman's therapist.

Heh, that's how I feel about Lee.

Wow! You write Lee beautifully, which is now *doubly* impressive given that you're not that into him as a character. Kudos!

Then again, I, too, rarely rewatch the episodes that focus on Lee alone because they tend to be botched as stories, even though I love his character best of all. (Sine Qua Non = case in point). So maybe this isn't a good test of character love :)

Also, I agree with your comment that the towel scene is silly. I find Jamie quite attractive, but less so when he's being shoved in my face for no good dramatic reason. Then I feel protective of him and irritated with the writers.

That also basically sums up my attitude to Head!Six throughout the series. Every time she came on screen I thought to myself, "Yes, she's sexy. Would you ease up on this, already? Give her something real to play."

Thanks - I always enjoy your comments.

My husband and I were actually reluctant to watch BSG (and waited until this year) largely because the press about the show was all "HOT CYLON CHICK!" about Trisha. I think it really hit the bottom when Baltar was air-frakking her and Kara walked in.

Too true. I think that was the low point, though it annoyed me throughout the otherwise stellar first season. Trisha is charming and lovely in interviews and she has proven at various points (like the Pegasus arc) that she is a terrific actress. I wish they had written to her skills rather than her looks.

*haha* Same here. She appeared in every cover on the Spanish DVDs and I couldn't stand it.

*brain twin*

I get so restless watching Kara-free or Kara-light episodes. And never once have I randomly put on a Lee episode just for pleasure. And Leland is infinitely more interesting when interacting with Kara. Actually, everyone is more interesting when interacting with Kara. *fangirls*
