Shipper, I didn't know you lived in Brooklyn! I grew up on Long Island and always thought I'd settle in either NYC or Chicago...almost did end up in Chitown, but ended up in NC instead! (Heh I just realized my state could be confused for New Cap when abbreviated...I am such a bsg geek!)

I agree, it's nice to live somewhere a bit calmer, even though I wouldn't have imagined it suiting me in my younger days.

I too get frustrated I wasn't able to join fandom earlier. I'm certainly loving it now though and am so glad you are part of it!!

BTW, "eat, sleep, dream about pilots"...sounds about right! :D
