We had some great song contributions at yesterday's Season 1 & 2 post, but we definitely need more. Please go back and contribute. *bats eyelashes* And don't worry if your favorite pilot songs don't exactly match one of the scenes - we'll figure out where to put it anyway. :)

I think we need a song for Kara as well as one for Lee for the "K got married"/"It was your idea?"/"Good luck, you're going to need it" scenes. I don't know that this one is completely fair to Kara and everything she was running from and her overwhelming fear (for herself to trust, but also b/c she felt the need to protect Lee from her "cancer"). I can accept this song as a huge part of Lee's reaction, but not all of it b/c I think he does realize (and grieves for them both) that Kara's motivation was partly the choice between "hurt him now or hurt him later" b/c she felt the hurt was inevitable. I'll continue to look for something.

This is completely Lee's perspective. And I agree with you that he understands her motives but I feel that he in this moment is so totaly fed up with it b/c he thought they were past all that. I think it's very conflicted for Lee, he both understands her and at the same time he is breaking. To survive that you need anger - "say goodbye with no sympathy"

Oh, I completely agree that he's fed up and felt they were at least starting to get past the trust issues. Good point about understanding Kara while still breaking inside. I'm also proud of Lee for bringing the anger. It's part of why K/L is THE OTP in my world. I appreciate that Lee holds Kara accountable in a way that many do not.

Also, thanks for posting!! It's good to see newer faces. Welcome to the craziest but best ship ever. :)
