DPP: Of Pilots and Pigeons

Following the BSG finale, the poof got a lot of attention, and it still does. It's one of those things that everyone has an opinion on. But what about that pigeon? What the frak was that? Did you find it deeply symbolic or just a big feathered load of fail? Here's a place to discuss that bird. Well, I think the pigeon symbolized Lee's fate (or perhaps the indifference of a cruel god). Just when he thought everything was going to be OK, someone or something always crapped all over him :D
