I confess that my fannishness most often expresses itself in cracktastic form. In keeping with that, today's party is a celebration of one of the more wonderfully cracky things found on the internet: MACROS. Bring me your cracky, your silly, your hilarious Piloty macros yearning to be posted so that we can all laugh until we ache. Please feel free to reference lines or ideas from the show, from other shows, from movies, from LOLcats, from that Tumblr where a velociraptor stalks Michael Buble, whatever you'd like! Heck, splice in Kanye West and make a series of GREATEST PILOTS OF ALL TIME (OF ALL TIME!!!) macros. :D :D :D
To get the ball rolling, I offer you the following (image heavy!) set of macros. (NB: I borrowed the format of this here thing from that Old Spice commercial.)
And, just in case macros aren't your cup of fannish tea (and because I hear that everyone loves these), a poll! Or, at least, a discussion preceding a poll. :D Last week, our lovelyrayruz had us voting on the best Pilots scene ever, and that made me curious. What's your favorite scene ever? Would it be too hard to choose? I THINK IT MIGHT BE. :O :O :O So today, in the comments, nominate your favorite scenes in this list of categories: Favorite Kiss, Favorite UST Scene, Favorite Fight, Favorite "I've got your back" Scene, Favorite Overall Pilots Moment. Feel free to illustrate your choices with gifs, screencaps, macros, icons, et cetera. Tomorrow I'll compile the nominees and we'll vote!

Date: 2010-06-01 07:09 am (UTC)I would like to nominate Season 4.5 The Oath - Kara and Lee kicking ass - in particular probably three main moments.
Favourite Kiss: The kiss in the Oath - "Feels good to be alive"
Favourite "I've got your back" moment: When Kara comes to rescue Lee in the hanger deck
Favourite Overall Pilots Moment: Kara and Lee coming into the hallway, guns blazing, totally in sync and together! I love the camaraderie between the pair.
Other scenes:
- Favourite UST - Scar - the "So why don't we?" from Kara - I don't know if the almost sex scene counts as UST or not? But it is sexy as all hell and there is no actual sex, so ... I am happy to go with your judgement on that - but it is a really great scene!
