I confess that my fannishness most often expresses itself in cracktastic form. In keeping with that, today's party is a celebration of one of the more wonderfully cracky things found on the internet: MACROS. Bring me your cracky, your silly, your hilarious Piloty macros yearning to be posted so that we can all laugh until we ache. Please feel free to reference lines or ideas from the show, from other shows, from movies, from LOLcats, from that Tumblr where a velociraptor stalks Michael Buble, whatever you'd like! Heck, splice in Kanye West and make a series of GREATEST PILOTS OF ALL TIME (OF ALL TIME!!!) macros. :D :D :D
To get the ball rolling, I offer you the following (image heavy!) set of macros. (NB: I borrowed the format of this here thing from that Old Spice commercial.)
And, just in case macros aren't your cup of fannish tea (and because I hear that everyone loves these), a poll! Or, at least, a discussion preceding a poll. :D Last week, our lovelyrayruz had us voting on the best Pilots scene ever, and that made me curious. What's your favorite scene ever? Would it be too hard to choose? I THINK IT MIGHT BE. :O :O :O So today, in the comments, nominate your favorite scenes in this list of categories: Favorite Kiss, Favorite UST Scene, Favorite Fight, Favorite "I've got your back" Scene, Favorite Overall Pilots Moment. Feel free to illustrate your choices with gifs, screencaps, macros, icons, et cetera. Tomorrow I'll compile the nominees and we'll vote!

Favorite Fight: The fight post-near-table-frakking in Scar. (http://www.frak-that.com/215/images/215_cap571.jpg) So deliciously angsty.
Favorite "I've got your back" Scene: Hmm. When they take back Galactica in The Oath and Blood on the Scales. Love that. Kara finally gets to kick some ass again, Lee pulls that stunt with the grenade (and Lee + guns + button-up shirt = GUH, really, OMG), and we get to see how well they work together. They're BAMF's, man. Plus, you know, there's that kiss. BONUS.
Favorite Overall Pilots Moment: "Everyone's got a skill," from the mini.
I just. This scene. You guys. I love the miniseries (sometimes more than I love the rest of the show), so my bias is showing, but this one has to be one of my favorite moments of all time (OF ALL TIME), so this is my nominee. THEIR LITTLE FACES. LOOK AT THEM. OMG. She's all, "OMG IT'S YOU AND YOU'RE NOT DEAD AND I LOVE YOU AND STUFF," and he's all, "HEY GIRL HEEEEY, YOU TOTALLY LIVED AND STUFF AND I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE YOU," and I CANNOT WATCH THIS SCENE without devolving into a complete ball of fangirl mush, so if I've got a favorite scene... this one wins. I was already hooked on this ship from the brig scene, but this... this made it REAL. So.
Can't wait to see what everyone else picks! :D
