So just for kicks, I played around with a random question generator today and came up with the following silly questions related pilots. Feel free to answer any or all of these (and if it's a question about Lee and you'd rather answer it about Kara, or vice versa, that's cool too!). And, at the end, there’s a more serious bonus question for you all! Thanks for sticking it out with me at the DPP this week!

Fun! OK, I'll try and run through this real quick before I head out of the house...

- Lee and Kara are forced to roleplay out a verbal couple fight. Who gets to play the wife? (Since I don't think "the wife" should in any way imply the weaker party, I say Kara can take that part and OWN it. I think we all know who's going to be winning this fake couple's fight, anyway.)

- Who would you rather get stuck in handcuffs with? (Lee. I expect he'd be a gentleman about it).

- Name something you have in common with Starbuck (Faith)

- Describe Lee in a single word. (Leader).

- What outfit would Lee never be caught dead in? (That v-neck blue sweater in the rec room scene of Six of One. Honestly, what happened there??? Shame on you, costume person).

- Would you open a mystery gift Kara just gave you without hesitation? (Definitely not. I have known her for more than five minutes, and I'm not crazy).

- What if you found out Kara and Lee were secretly aliens cylons plotting to take over the world? (I'd be glad they were in it together.)

- If Apollo were to be mistaken for a celebrity (in real life), who would it be? (Midshipman Archie Kennedy).

- What musical instrument would Kara likely play? (Piano, though I'd love to see her on trumpet).

- Who would be a better superhero sidekick, Lee or Kara, and why? (Well, neither are too big on sidekick-ing. Lee would be a more useful sidekick because he is more diplomatic. Kara would be a better comic sidekick, and she would go rogue after about five seconds).

- What’s Apollo’s opinion on cheese? (Happy to consign its ashes to the Cylon armageddon ~ one of the few beneficial extinctions resulting from the war).

- You wander into the (bunk)room and find Starbuck’s personal diary. Do you read it? (Anything she wrote in there is a lie. Seriously. It probably wasn't even her writing ~ this whole thing sounds like Helo hijinks.)

- Lee got turned into an animal. What animal is it? (a cuddly teddy bear. He'd hate it, Kara would love it. It would be like the Muppet episode of "Angel." And he would still have to run CAG briefings in his cute furry form.)

- Super fun fun adventure amusement park marathon with you, Kara and Lee! How will it go? (I will never be able to get them off the rollercoasters.)

- How would Kara Thrace insult Apollo? (How wouldn't she?)

- Hot Apollo on Starbuck action - Yes/No? (Figured I needed to toss you a gimme in here.) Do I need to dignify this question with a response? :)

- Assuming he lived on Earth in modern times, what would Lee’s favorite TV show or movie be? (I bet Lee would love old classic black and white films, maybe some David Lean epics; he'd appreciate intricate scripts and old-school movie stars).

- In a race between you, Kara and Lee, who would win? (In planes, Kara. On foot, Lee. In no possible scenario would I ever win.)

- What song could be Kara’s theme song? (The theme to Mission Impossible! I love it!)

- Who would win in a duel? Lee or Kara? And what kind of duel would it be? (They should totally have a lightsaber duel, and obviously they would tie because the Force would lead them to recognize their fundamental affinity for each other).


Bonus Question: How has loving pilots changed your life? From the small (you joined fandom) to the medium (you cut your hair to look like Starbuck's) to the major (you joined the military!) , what changes has your love for these characters brought to your life?

Pilots have changed my life in small but good ways. I've gotten active in this LJ community, which I've never done for any other fandom before, and it's been marvellous getting to know other fans and sharing their thoughts. Also, my husband shared the show with me, so it has been great fun analyzing it with him and chatting about pilots together :)

That v-neck blue thing was indeed made of fail. The costume people must have been tipsy that day.

All I can picture now is puppet!Angel with the sword across his shoulders and teddy!Lee in a tiny flight suit epic-ly stalking down a hallway with his helmet under his short, furry arm. Holy crossover fic, Batman!
