yeah, I suppose things were strained for them. Can't believe he hasn't seen her for two weeks (prob. since Colonial Day?). But one thing I always appreciated about pre-Apollo Dee was her directness, it's sad how much she changed :(

side note: Kandyse McClure's eyes are so beautiful. No wonder the directors kept filming her face in extreme close-up :)

IDK why but that apartment matches Kara perfectly. I love how Helo is just staying there and listens to her (well except complaining for the lack of food)

Love this scene between Kara and Helo, so much - it's somehow fitting that she's so guarded about stuff that really matters that even her best friend doesn't know she paints. And it's a lovely scene, it's rare for her to be this open with anyone.

Incidentally, those flight suits seem to hold a lot - oxygen, tape for Kara to name-tag her Raider, now pen and paper for Lee to scribble notes on? That's handy.

yes, of course because you really need to write some notes when you are in a Viper fitting cylons or flying CAP. Maybe they were playing crosswords or sudoku or something.

I just finished the episode. That last scene with Lee and Tigh it kills me every time. In a very strange way they end up bonding over their fear for Adama's life. And of course our boy feels the need to make a speech.

Yeah, that. I did have a small giggle over Tigh's "thank the gods I didn't have kids" line, though, so ironic considering what he is.

It really does seem to be true, most of the visible "makeup" on BSG seems to be fake blood and bruises :)
