Kara/Lee fic recs: Epiphanies

So...I really couldn't think of much fic for this ep, probably because, I mean, are pilots even in it? I don't remember this episode AT ALL other than that it revealed Roslin and Adar (is that even how you spell his name? I...don't really care enough to check!) were a sekrit item, which leads me to figure they are not. Why yes, I have a very specific and blinding interest in Show--why do you ask?!

BUT ANYWAY, the fic I am about to rec is most excellent, so there's that! As Kara/Lee masochists shippers, I think we've all come to appreciate quality over quantity anyway, right? (Though of course I would not turn down any recs in the comments, just fyi--I would love to see more fic set around this period for sure.) And with that, here we go:

Strict Joy is one of the best albums I've heard in a long time. I have so many favorite songs! And I have to force myself to stop listening to them on repeat. If you are looking to download some more songs, btw, I'd recommend The Rain, or Back Broke, or I Have Loved You Wrong...

Honestly, I haven't seen Epiphanies since the very first time I watched it, oh...three years ago? I pretty much ignored all non-Kara-goodness-y episodes when I rewatched.

You're tempting me so! I'll probably download the whole album eventually; right now I'm just trying to stick to a pretty tight budget, which iTunes does its best to prevent me from accomplishing. :)

Yeah, don't blame you a bit. Rewatching las night, though, I was surprised to see that there actually were a couple Kara, Lee, and Kara/Lee scenes. Nothing groundbreaking, but it did have the scene from this icon I use and love. So...it was better than I'd expected! Still too much Roslin and Athena for me, but the rewatch comments come so fast that you can't usually even pay close attention to the episode anyway and time just flies.
