DPP: Play On.........

Sorry I'm late with today's DPP, guys - cramps and a weird-acting LJ embed function did mk. I of this post in, but now I'm back, with yet another question about pilots set to music - what are your favourite pieces of music that remind you of pilots, which you haven't yet seen as the soundtrack to a fanvid or inspiration for a songfic?
This post also serves as an open invite to anyone who wants to make vids using the music we mention here - please, if you feel the beginnings of a vid coming on, make it and leave us the link! If any get done before the end of the week, they'll be the subject of my final DPP post. And even if you're not in a vidding mood, tell us about your personal soundtrack for pilots, any and all suggestions are welcome!
Anyway, here's my selection:
1. Kissing In The Rain, by Patrick Doyle feat. Tori Amos (from the soundtrack of the 1998 Great Expectations)
This has always been one of my favourite pieces of music of all time, but I think it's particularly perfect for pilots because of the way it captures them - the romance, wistfulness, tension, yearning and forever EPICNESS that is them, so beautifully, and (very appropriately for pilots) there are no words.

2. The Last of the Mohicans theme, by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman (in this vid, it's soundtracking a fan-made trailer for Serenity - sorry about that, it was the only vid I could find that had the shorter version of the song I wanted). Another epic romantic theme, which I think speaks quite a bit to the warrior side of pilots.

3. Wishful Thinking, by Duncan Sheik (again, from the Great Expectations OST). With lyrics this time, but still pilots-appropriate.

Enough about me, now. Tell me all about the songs that you think fit pilots and haven't actually been their background music yet!
PS: The pic at the top is there because I don't want to do a DPP with no pics of pilots, and they look so cute in their protective glasses (of course they can't wear real glasses for bad eyesight and still fly planes, but it's nice to have the image).
