Hello everyone, I hope y'all had a good weekend - and a very happy 4th of July to those of you for whom it's not over yet! After the amazing DPPs we had last week, it looks like it's my turn to steer the ship (sadly not the pilots ship itself, or we'd do something about that pigeon, among other things), and I thought I'd open it with one of my favourite pilots moments from The Oath, a.k.a. The Episode With The Mutiny, Where Kara Shoots People, Feels Better About Herself, And Kisses Lee. In the wake of that, the little gem below is often either underrated, or completely lost:

I really, really love the fact that there is a tiny, not-so-obvious pilots moment happening behind the MAJOR DadAdama/Roslin one, and the fact that pilots here look like disgruntled siblings - it's not shippy, but seeing just how in sync they are, how well they understand each other (as is often the case with pilots, not a word was spoken here) and how they look a leeetle bit grossed-out by the fact that their parents (de facto parents, anyway) are doing pretty much the same thing that they themselves were doing just hours before, it never fails to make me smile. In fact, pilots in sibling mode always make me feel like I want to ruffle their hair - I love the fact that they connect on so many different levels, and that we got to see that in this episode.
That's enough of my rambling - how about you guys? Do you have any favourite non-shippy (EDIT: taking a cue from
howlinchickhowl, I'm going to amend that to non-romantic, which I think is a better, slightly clearer description) minor moments between pilots? Bring on the comments, pics and gifs if you do, and if you think I'm crazy for saying any pilots moments are not shippy, say so!
