DPP: OOC and OTT

Out of Character and Over the Top. Many fanfic writers worry about going too far in one direction, and taking their story to a place in which the characters do not resemble how they were in canon. On the other hand, there are many scenes in canon that fans think do not resemble the characters that they have come to know and love.
Granted, everyone has a slightly different perception of what a character is like, their own interpretation, but I think more people can agree on the things that are severely out of character or over the top.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Together, create a round robin fic of the most OTT and OOC nature you can possibly make it. Be as soap opera-esque as you feel is necessary. It doesn't matter if you're a good or a bad writer, just join in and see what happens.
First bit:
Kara sat in her quarters on the Demetrius poring over her star charts. Earth was out there somewhere and it was her duty to find it. However, she found that she just could not concentrate on her work. No, her mind was on other things. Like the fact that both her husband and her... friend, almost-brother, lover, former superior officer, everything...her Lee had joined the mission as well. She sighed loudly. What was she supposed to do?
Just then... there was a knock at the hatch.
(Ready, set, go!)
