Date: 2011-07-20 04:15 pm (UTC)She always knew she’d end up on that wall. It had just been a matter of time. A clock ticking away the beats of her heart. She’d figured it would be OK…once she was gone.
But she’d never figured she’d be around to see herself up there. Beside Kat, smiling and hopeful like a memory should be.
She’d burned her own body, why shouldn’t she visit its shrine? She shook under the knowledge that whatever she was now; she wasn’t, couldn’t be her. Nothing could change that . . .except his hand on her face.
And she was Kara again.
***
I’ve Been To Earth, PG
He was panicked. She needed to give them more. He couldn’t protect her if she couldn’t prove it to the others.
“You said you’d been there.” He prodded for details. They wanted details, maps, something exact.
“I have!”
“Then where is it?” he begged. “What does it look like?”
“I don’t know,” She yelled back in frustration. “I don’t remember. I just know what it felt like.”
“What did it feel like then?” Please, he thought, something, anything.
She wrapped herself around him, holding him like her arms could wipe away his fear.
“It felt like this. It felt like home.”
He could breathe again.
***
FRAK SPACE, R
It didn’t take long for lust to outweigh guilt. The next night Zak brought them back together. The music of the club, the alcohol and their growing passion overtook them quickly. They danced while Zak talked with a classmate. Her hands around his neck, her breasts pushed tightly to his chest, all thoughts of decency gone. When she gave him a pointed look before sauntering to the bathroom, he didn’t hesitate to follow.
She was on him before the door shut, her eyes daring him to stop them.
“I can’t stop,” he groaned as he slid inside.
Her eyes sparkled, “Good.”
***
This is Not A Marriage, R
“Where were you?” He grit out through clenched teeth, watching her stumble in.
She giggled drunkenly as she struggled out of her clothes before collapsing to the bed.
“Out.”
“Don’t play with me, Kara.” He hated how crazy he sounded. He hated her for making him crazy.
“Don’t be so fun to play with then, Lee.” She laughed straddling his naked lap.
Stilling her hips he pushed for more. Anything.
“I deserve an answer.”
“Do you see a ring on this finger?” She asked breathlessly wiggling against him.
His eyes were pleading. “Then marry me.”
She just smiled and shook her head as she sank onto him.
“No.”
***
Missed You, Too, PG
He sees her again. Eventually. It takes a long time. A lifetime of exploring and rebuilding and hunting and planting. A lifetime of hard work in the days and quiet nights spent alone. His life a testament to his love for the people he led home. His time spent caring for them, helping them, making certain they survive.
When he slips away, it’s with a happy heart. He’s done his work and he knows where it leads.
His eyes open to her shining face, her outstretched hand. His long wait over, he reaches back.
“I missed you.”
“I missed you, too.”

is just so childish and Kara-y, and also, I imagine, the truth.
Good bingo :)

Date: 2011-07-20 06:22 pm (UTC)Kara pulls away, quickly puts on her briefs and tanks.
“Where are you going?” Sam asks, disappointed.
She shrugs. “I have a CAP. I need to shower.” She slips through the curtain and into the bright, busy common area.
Lee is still staring at her hungrily.
She brushes past him and he follows her out, so close she can feel the heat rolling off him.
In the corridor Lee grabs her, pins her against the wall and kisses her hard, devouring her with his mouth.
“Right here, right now,” Kara begs.
No fantasy compares to Lee Adama frakking her senseless.
Blood & Sweat, PG
Kara blushes when it’s Lee who steps between the thin curtains. “I was kidding, Lee.”
He raises an eyebrow at her. “Would you rather Cottle did this?”
She flinches. “Alright, then.”
“Come here.” He gently helps her to sit up and peel off the layers of clothing she was wearing under her flightsuit. Her skin is dark with sweat and blood. He hopes most of it’s the Raider’s.
“Lee?” Kara asks when she’s naked and he’s still staring.
Now he blushes. “Sorry.” He holds the damp cloth an inch from her breast, then begins to tenderly wipe the grime away.
You Come Back Here, NC-17
“Hey!” Lee’s voice rings across the hangar deck just as Kara prepares to step into the Demetrius.
Helo glances past her. “Twenty minutes,” he says softly, and boards, leaving them alone.
“Lee!” Kara bursts out as he reaches her, and then she gives herself up to his kiss, to his demanding touch. There are no rules that matter anymore. Lee pulls their clothes away and Kara wraps her arms around his neck as he lifts her, thrusts deep inside her body. They both finally believe she’s alive.
“You come back this time,” he whispers hoarsely.
Kara nods hard. “I promise.”
Socrata, PG-13
The pilots are laughing as Kara strolls up. “What’s so funny?”
“Crashdown,” Lee splutters, “was telling us about how he broke his arm ice-skating.”
“In front of a girl,” Crashdown mutters.
She chuckles.
“What about you?” Racetrack asks. “Ever break a bone?”
Kara goes suddenly silent, then walks away.
“Hey!” Lee follows her out into the hall. “What’s wrong?” When Kara breaks into a run, he joins her, sticking beside her for nearly an hour until she collapses to the floor.
“Forty-eight,” Kara says, not meeting his eyes.
“What?”
She holds up her hands. “Broken bones.”
Lee holds her tightly.
It’s Over, Kara, G
She sets the Raptor down gently on the grass and they stumble out, gaze around at their new world.
“It’s over,” Lee murmurs, shaking his head in awe.
“What is?”
He grins. “The war. The journey. All of it.”
Kara smiles fondly. “I’m sure there’ll be some new journey before too long.”
Lee shrugs. “You’re probably right. But as long as we’re going together, I don’t care.”
“Sounds good to me.” Her face is alight as she takes in the beauty of the planet.
“I mean it.” Lee takes her hand in his, catches her eyes. “Marry me, Kara Thrace.”

Date: 2011-07-20 08:50 pm (UTC)“It’s not cheating, Lee” She promised. “It’s just an un-traditional interpretation of the rules.”
“Yeah?” He whispered challengingly. “Tell that to Dee. Let’s see what she thinks.”
Rolling her eyes at his strict moral code, she sighed.
“Fine.”
“Good” he nodded, “No more counting cards at the table. Agreed?”
“Yes, sir.” She groused.
“Now go lose her back her socks.”
Stomping away, she called back over her shoulder.
“You used to be alot more fun before you were CAG, you know? I remember a time when you didn’t mind bending those rules so much.”
He blushed as he turned away and muttered under his breath.
“I remember too.”
***
Socrata; PG-13
Socrata Thrace had been a tyrant of a mother. Kara knew that. She had the scars to prove it, but she’d also made her strong. Strong enough to survive what she needed to survive. So Kara learned to forgive her. Even to eventually feel a kind of gratitude towards her. It took all that strength to survive this long. Kara didn’t know that she would have without the strength imbued by Socrata’s scars. But as Lee traced each mark with his hands and mouth, soothing away the memory of her mother’s lessons, though Kara’d forgiven, he knew he never would.
***
This is Not A Marriage; PG-13
Undercover ops were never Lee's favorite assignments.
Kara was, however, enjoying their charade immensely. Mostly, he figured, because of his discomfort.
“C’mon dear,” she said loudly, grabbing his hand. “Let’s see if we can find those blue pills for you.”
“Gods you’re bad at couple-like behavior.” He sighed as she skipped them along the halls of the Prometheus.
“Me?” She laughed, projecting her voice. “You’re the one too uptight to even touch me. What would our therapist say sweetie? Your physical insecurities aren’t good for our marriage.”
“THIS is not a marriage!” He hissed at her.
“Oh honey!” She pouted, kissing his cheek. “You wound me.”
***
Grounded, PG
Kara was used to being grounded. She’d made a habit of being grounded long before she’d ever gotten her wings. She’d also long since given up following the rules of those groundings. It used to be sneaking out windows, now it involved commissioning Viper jets for unauthorized flights to the Prometheus black market.
Lee was breathing fire by the time she returned.
“Lt. Thrace! You’re grounded for a reason! What makes you think you can just ignore a commanding officer’s order?!”
Climbing clumsily from the wing, she just smirked. “Stand down Daddy, whose fault is it that I can’t stop craving pickles?”
***
Grief, PG-13
Losing Zak had gut her. The grief had opened her chest and ripped from it all the moving parts. She was thankful. Empty shells don’t bleed. Numb, she charged ahead, daring anyone to try to touch her missing machinery.
But he’d walked behind her picking up her damaged pieces and slowly put them back, piece by bleeding piece. The pain returned and she hated him, until she saw how much his own pain needed hers.
His eyes begged for what his lips couldn’t.
“I can’t rebuild us from scratch. Just let me help fix what’s broken.”
For him, she’d stand the pain.

Date: 2011-07-20 10:09 pm (UTC)His new next door neighbour is hot. Lee's only seen her in glimpses; collecting her mail, coming home from a run soaked in sweat.
She's coming home one morning as he's heading out, her hair is messy, her shirt is on backwards. He nods, tries to think of something to say. She winks and stumbles inside before he manages.
He locks himself out one night and knocks on her door. She pulls a pin out of her hair and uses it to pick his lock.
“Where'd you learn that?” Lee asks. She shrugs, her grin is wicked.
“Juvie.”
Foresight President Baltar, PG
“Can you believe it?” Kara takes the drink he offers, their fingertips as they transfer the glass.
“Nope.” She replies, following Lee's gaze up to the stage where the newly elected Vice President holds court on the stage.
She fiddles with the shifting material of her dress, arranging the sashes to her liking. Lee watches her, eyes soft and warm, different than usual. She shifts under his gaze.
“You realize that this means if something happens to her, we may well be living under the government of President Baltar?”
Kara snorts, sips her drink.
“Yeah, right.”
On a Sandy Land Great Place for a House, PG
“This is great! Don't you think?” The sand is warm between his toes. The waves break gently on the shore. Kara's skin is pink-tinged and glistening from the sun-lotion she had applied too late.
Lee takes her in for a minute forgetting to answer her question.
“Lee?” She nudges him and he wakes up a little bit.
“It's nice.” He replies and Kara rolls her eyes.
“I think it's great. I'm gonna build a house here someday.” She flops back into the sand with a sigh. Lee follows her down, he thinks that sounds pretty great.
The Sinner's Refrain New Caprica, R, AU
Every time they do this he breaks off another piece of his heart, drops it onto the floor and grinds it into dust with the heel of his shoe.
She's been married three years and four days. They've been frakking for three years and five. He knows it's awful, but it gives him satisfaction to know that.
Kara groans as he pulls out of her, lays sloppy kisses along her collar bone, digs his fingers into her ink covered skin. She kisses his mouth, lewd and hungry, he stiffens in her hand.
He breaks off another piece of his heart.
Doodle hearts Kara Thrace Loves Lee Adama, PG, AU
Kara sank further down into her seat and kicked the chair in front of her.
Lee turned and glared and she stuck out her tongue. A tiny grin formed, a single point of mischief on his innocent face. He grabbed her notebook and turned back round.
He scribbled furiously all through the rest of the lesson. At the end of class he tossed the book on to her desk, open at the middle page. Every inch of the paper was covered in the same five words.
“Kara Thrace Loves Lee Adama.”
She blushed. She punched him on the arm.

Date: 2011-07-20 10:49 pm (UTC)Kara steps back from looking at the painting on the wall, telling herself it's thinner fumes in her eyes. Shout it to the stars he'd said, well here she was with the stars shouting in her head – if only she could find where they were? Outside, from through the open door to her cabin she can hear the bitching and dissent. They don't believe her and it's all going wrong, but she has to gone on, the calling is in her blood.
She swallows the tears. He believes in her and she's not going to ruin that belief. She's not.
***
Kasey - PG
Lee bumps into a woman and she drops her child's toy. He picks it up and hands it back with a smile. He doesn't know who she is or who the child is but Kasey's mother knows him. She's heard the news on the wireless about Starbuck's return wants to ask, however the moment's lost when he walks away. Cuddling her child, she thinks about all the things Kara reluctantly told her in those hours when she'd steel away to hold Kasey; pretending for a few hours that she wasn't damaged, wasn't a wreck and could've made a good mother.
***
Frak Space – NC17
It's pointless to be subtle about it. She wants him and he wants her. Currently they're getting it under the tables in the meeting room. On her knees, he's hitting the right spot and she cries out, curling her head to see him. She's as wet as can possibly be and he's sliding in like honey. They lock lips and it's a good job, for the door opens and Laura walks in with Tory. Lee freezes but Kara's not letting anyone stop this train – she bites his lip hard and he thrust again; their passion hidden by the table drapes.
***
Your Fly's Open – NC17
Yes, his fly's open. And doesn't he frakkin' know it? That's because her hand's right down inside, curling for that sweet spot under his sack. She's been trying to work him for days now, warning that if he doesn't relent to her demands, then he's going to pay.
He can hold out, he must.
His fly can no longer be constituted as open for his trousers are off and she's on top… sinking down firmly.
"You gonna let me have two days off CAG?"
"No, can't spare… oh Gods… no!"
She lifts her hips away as if to say 'really?'
***
Great Place for a House - PG
"There's no great place for a house anywhere, Lee. This whole world's frakked. When I came back I thought I had a purpose, to bring us to Earth. But all I've done is bring us to a graveyard. I just wish, oh Gods, I wish I knew, or understood what I am? According to them I'm not a cylon, and you watched my ship explode into dust."
He takes her hand as they watch her body burn. He'd followed, worried when she'd gone off with Leoben alone. The cylon'd left running and now it was just her and him alone.

Date: 2011-07-20 11:30 pm (UTC)At the moment when she comes she finds it hard to breathe. Lee's thrusting inside of her and she feels him everywhere. He always looks her in the eyes, stares right into her and watches as she goes to pieces beneath him. And it's always the same.
She opens her mouth to suck in air but there is none, she takes giant gulps of nothing as her muscles clench and spasm and Lee's nose knocks against hers, his relentless rhythm knocking the wind from her sails.
She tries to breathe but it doesn't come, she's floating airless out in space.
Wingman Rescue, PG
The bar is unusually quiet for a Friday, it would normally be teeming with Fleet personnel, but apparently more people than they'd anticipated had decided to take advantage of the long weekend and go home for the Solstice.
Lee's been stuck talking to the same woman for forty minutes. She's twice as drunk as she thinks she is, and about half as attractive. Her dress is too tight and he can't stop looking at the lipstick smudge on her front teeth.
Over her shoulder, Lee catches Kara's eye. Help me! he pleads silently. She grins delightedly and shakes her head.
Made You Look! Your Fly's Open, PG, AU
Zak brings him to a pick-up game the first Sunday morning he's back in town. It's started by the time they get there, shirts and skins, and from the looks of it they play dirty.
Lee joins skins, takes his spot in the center of the court. He's guarded by a blonde girl with a predatory grin and a look in her eyes that makes his shorts too tight..
Her eyes flick downwards as they square up.
“Your fly's undone.” He looks, it's not. “Made you look.” She laughs and steals the ball right out of his hands.
Wash it Away Leoben, PG
Kara's visibly shaken when she comes back from interrogating the cylon. She strips off her tanks in the bunk-room and wanders aimlessly into the head. Lee follows her because she looks like she may not make it back.
He sits down on a bench and listens to the violent spray of water on tile, tells her stupid jokes that Zak used to pull out during awkward pauses in conversation.
“Gods, Lee, shut up!” She calls eventually and he smiles, shuts up and waits.
She pads out wrapped in a towel, quirks her lips and shoves him in the shoulder.
Times Have Changed Action Stations, PG
Every time Gaeta calls for Action Stations he always states that it's not a drill. At some point Kara starts to think it's hilarious. When was the last time that it was a drill?
She points it out to Lee as they're running down to the flight deck, he looks at her like she's nuts for thinking about that at this moment in time.
After the mutiny the new officer of the watch never asserts that it isn't a drill. Kara climbs into her viper and watches some rookie climb into Lee's. She doesn't really think it's funny any more.

Date: 2011-07-21 12:02 am (UTC)“Is that really what you wanted, Lee?”
He stares at her mouth. “No.” The word floats out unbidden. Then he panics. “But--”
Kara rolls her eyes. “Girl meets boy. Girl meets boy’s brother. Girl likes boy’s brother better. It’s hardly a ground-breaking story, Lee.”
“Better, huh?”
She grins. “At least so far.”
“Good.” He doesn’t pause, just reaches out, kisses her. The same charge flows through them that they felt last night, intensifying now. Kara backs up and Lee follows her to the table. He presses her down ceremoniously and Kara reaches up to him.
This time nothing stops them.
Kacey, G
Lee watches as Kara settles the little girl beside her on the piano bench, then scoots it closer so Kacey can reach the keys. Slowly she lays the girl’s fingers on the white keys, then presses them down in order. The little girl laughs in delight as she recognizes the tune. Lee does, too: it’s a popular Caprican lullaby. He wonders if Kara’s father sang it to her--he’d bet her mother didn’t.
For a moment Kara looks over and meets his eyes, smiling, before returning to her lesson. Lee keeps watching. Someday he wants to raise children with this woman.
Dollhouse, PG
Kara frowns. In the corner of the livingroom a sheet is draped over...she’s not sure what. She glances around for Bill and Lee, but they’re still out on the porch. Delicately she lifts the corner of the sheet, absently wondering where on Earth Bill got spares.
She gasps as she sees it: a perfect little replica of the cabin, complete with painted windows and Vipers landed on the roof.
“It’s not like the real ones,” Bill says softly behind her, “back on Caprica. But I thought she’d like it someday.”
Kara turns with tears in her eyes. “It’s better.”
Medicine, R
Kara walks into the President’s suite. “You summoned?”
Lee grins.
“What’s up?”
He holds up something small and white. “I found some of Roslin’s...medicine.”
“She might come back,” Kara warns, even as she reaches.
Lee snatches it away, lights it, inhales.
Kara barely gets a hit before Lee’s kissing her. She feels suddenly like every nerve in her body just woke up. He bites her lip and heat floods through her. “Gods,” Kara gasps.
They frak for hours, passionately, sensually, caught up in drugs and pleasure.
As they finally calm, Kara giggles. “What was she gonna do with this?”
He Approved the Transfer?, PG
“My father approved it?” Lee asks, the blood rushing in his ears.
“Yeah,” Kara nods. She swallows hard. “It’s hard to give orders when you have someone under your command you...you know...” She looks away.
“Love?”
Her eyes leap to his.
“I told you that a long time ago, Kara. You were the only one who thought I was kidding.”
She stares. “I didn’t.”
“Then it’s a good thing you transferred,” he says, reaching out to stroke her cheek. Kara’s breath catches and Lee smiles as he leans in. “No takebacks,” he whispers, and presses his lips to hers.

Date: 2011-07-21 01:49 am (UTC)I broke my wordPG
It was their first time together after that fateful night in New Caprica.
She was near sleep when Lee’s resigned words broke the silence.
“I broke my word. I’d promised myself I’d never do this again.”
They were so quiet, she almost missed them.
They filled her with dread.
She should, of course, have been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Happiness never lasted long. That was a lesson she’d learned that a long time ago.
“I’m sorry.”
He turned her so she would face him and looked straight into her eyes and kissed her thoroughly.
“Are you? I’m not.”
Porch swing, PG
“You are such a dreamer, Apollo.” She said with a loud laugh.
They were rocking together on their porch swing, her head resting on his lap while she was making fun of his latest plan for the settlement.
“You are such a pessimist, Starbuck.” He chuckled.
“No, I’m a realist. There’s a difference.”
“Really? Well, you never believed we’d be here one day, did you? And yet, here we are.”
She was very serious when she finally replied.
“It’s good to be wrong.”
He squeezed her hand and smiled at her.
“You should be used to it by now.”
Torture, PG
He has been awful to her. Cold and distant and unforgiving. Uncaring. Unfeeling. Just what she deserved after what she had done.
He could see she was hurting. He had heard the stories of what had happened to her on that planet. He had read what she had written on her report. And knowing her as he did, he was more than able to read between the lines and imagine just how much was not in there.
Nobody understood why he was apparently so intent on torturing her.
Appearances can be deceiving. Little did they know he was torturing himself
Bright shiny futures
After years of war and running, death and loss, after the gutting disappointment of Earth and a mutiny that threatened to tear them apart from inside, this green lush planet was indeed something to celebrate.
And everybody was doing just that. There was drinking and singing and dancing. Bonfires lit the settlement, laughter filled the air.
Only one thing was missing: Lee Adama.
“To a new beginning in a new world.” She handed him a drink and said with a smile when she finally found him.
She was greeted with the brightest, happiest of smiles.
“To bright shiny futures. Together.”
Didn’t need you anyway.,PG
“I thought I needed you and that scared me – to need someone so much. To depend on someone so much.
But then you married him and I was certain the pain and anger would destroy me.
They didn’t.
Then you died. I was positive I wouldn’t survive that.
But not only I did, I found the strength to turn my life around.
Hard as it was, it made me realize I didn’t need you, after all.
You make my life better, fuller, happier, Kara, …. but I can live without you.
I just don’t want to. Not now. Not ever.”

Date: 2011-07-21 02:37 am (UTC)Kara grunts and drops the last box of books down in Lee’s new quarters. “Heavier than rocks.”
“But useful,” he teases.
She rolls her eyes and flips open the top book. Then her jaw drops. “Shit, Lee!”
“What?” He leans over her shoulder to stare at the photograph.
After a long pause, Kara starts to giggle uncontrollably. “I can’t believe your dad--and Laura frakking Roslin--” She can’t even get the words out she’s laughing so hard.
“Lee? You left another box in the Raptor!” Bill calls from down the hall.
Lee looks frantically at Kara. “I’m not going out there.”
Trapped, PG
“Um...how do we get back?” Lee asks first, but no one has an answer. Finally they settle around the circle of pillars. Lee and Kara end up together.
“What if we’re trapped here?” Kara wonders after awhile, yawning as she leans against Lee’s shoulder.
He rests his head on hers in turn. “Well, I guess we hope we can survive here,” he says mildly.
“And start having babies!” Laura calls from across the circle. Adama shushes her.
Lee feels Kara stiffen, remembers that Laura saw their kiss. “You first!” he shouts back. Kara laughs, relaxing. He hugs her close.
Oracle, G
“Look!” Kara points and leads him toward a tent.
“A fortune teller?” Lee says doubtfully, glancing at the silk-draped entrance, different from the rest of the temporary structures in the month-old colony.
She elbows him. “An oracle, Lee.” She ducks inside.
“Welcome,” the woman murmurs.
Kara makes a quick obeisance and kneels. “What can you tell us, lady?” she asks softly. Grabbing Lee’s hand she tugs him down beside her.
The oracle looks them up and down carefully. “Your hearts are joined in all things,” she says slowly. “You’ll be together at the last.”
Lee smiles, and chooses to believe.
Frak Space, NC-17
Since the attacks, since New Caprica, since she found her body, Kara has woken many nights from nightmares that leave her shaking in a cold sweat.
One of her favorite things about Lee Adama is that with him, she wakes like this: his tongue exploring as his fingers stroke rhythmically inside her, her body trembling for an entirely different reason.
“Now, Lee, now,” Kara begs as words come back to her.
He grins and kisses the inside of her leg, his stubble scraping deliciously over her fair skin .
“Please,” she moans.
He stops teasing, gives her exactly what she needs.
You Come Back Here, NC-17
“Hey! Come back here!”
Lee turns at Kara’s cry and heads back toward her. Stops a foot away.
“Zak’s still passed out,” she says hesitantly. “He’ll never know.”
He presses her back against the wall of the building, hands on either side of her head. Kara leans up and he settles his lips against hers. They both taste like ambrosia. She’s wild, pulling at his clothes, and Lee doesn’t even care that anyone could see; he has to have her. Tomorrow he’ll think about propriety, about his brother. Right now he slams into Kara’s body, lets her have his soul.

Date: 2011-07-21 06:57 am (UTC)At fifteen, they meet at Caprica’s worst juvenile detention center. It’s not Kara’s first rodeo, but Lee’s different. He doesn’t brag or posture, barely talks at all. There’s a look in his eyes, a sadness that makes Kara shiver.
Some jackass keeps harassing him. Kara throws a punch. He smiles. That’s all it takes.
They make it through the days thanks to her quick fists and his clever thinking. They slip into corners unnoticed, and he tells her finally, what he did to protect his little brother.
At night, she dreams they’ll run away, through grassy fields under starry skies.

Worth It, Rescue, PG
“Is it true?”
“Is what true?” He sighs at her tone, belligerent and begging for a fight. Lee knows she’s just cranky and restless from being stuck in sickbay. He tries to have patience.
“Chief said you used practically half the fuel reserves running S&Rs on that frakking moon!” Her eyes flash, furious. “What the hell were you thinking, Lee? Pulling the damn CAP!? It’s insane.”
He stares at her for a long moment, then reaches out and curls his hand around hers. “What do you want me to say, Kara?” Lee shrugs, smiles. “Love makes you do crazy things.”

Close Quarters, frak space, NC-17
“Ow! Kara curses. “Lee, godsdammit, will you move your big damn—”
He does, and she groans.
“Was that a disparaging remark about my joystick, lieutenant?” he murmurs.
“Seeing how it’s currently bruising the hell out of my ass, sir, could you blame me?” She bites her lip, picking up the pace. She is almost there, if she could just…a little more…
She shifts and the hard plastic gouges her hip now. But Lee’s helping, hands cradling her ass, squeezing, lifting her against him harder, faster, until finally…she breaks.
Breathless but sated, Kara gasps, “Tomorrow night... My viper... More room.”

A Home of Our Own, Ground-breaking, PG-13
On the planet they come to call Earth, the soil is dense and rocky. Helo and Sharon get the first house. Fleet and civilians and cylons alike lend a hand.
It’s nice, but after a few weeks Kara gets restless. She and Lee slip away at dawn, wander until they find the perfect spot. The work’s harder with just the two of them, but then, they always liked it that way.
Under the stars, he lays her down in their future home, makes love to her slowly, holds her close until morning. The soil of a new world welcomes them.

Wet, Hot Summer, down by the river, R
It’s a long, hot summer on Caprica that year. In the afternoons, temperatures climb so high the asphalt melts beneath their feet.
So Kara and Lee steal away, spend the lazy, hazy hours after lunch down by the river. They have splashing fights and dunking contests. The water is blessedly cool against their fevered skin.
Weeks pass and their games become more dangerous. They drift closer and closer, wet mouths and glistening hands skimming the surface at first then plunging beneath the depths. Soon their skin burns again, hotter than before.
He’s so glad Zak never learned how to swim.

Date: 2011-07-21 08:24 am (UTC)Kara always felt at home on a battlestar, especially on Galactica. Pegasus would take a bit more getting used to. The atmosphere had changed since Cain’s command ended and Lee’s began, yet Kara would always feel like Galactica was the superior ship despite Pegasus’ newer technology. As she opened the hatch to the commander’s quarters, she was met by those mesmerizing blue eyes that would always make her breathless.
“I can’t believe the old man said yes.”
“Well it’s not like he really had a choice,” said Kara as Lee’s eyes drifted down to her protruding stomach.

Play with me, dollhouse, G, AU
Growing up, Kara Thrace was not the typical little girl who played dress up and did makeovers on her Barbie dolls. She was more of an artistic child and her mother wasn’t the playing type. With Kacey she wanted things to be different. Kara never thought she wanted children but Kacey had been shoved into her life and Kara surprised herself with how easy the worries of parenting came to her. That’s why Kara did her best to make a dollhouse out of scrap metal and sewed miniature dress blues and pilot tanks for Kacey’s dolls. Just like Mama.

Broken, Kacey, PG
Maybe Lee had been a fool to think they would work. When Kara came back from New Caprica, Lee could tell something was broken inside. There was damage that not even he could undo. Yet there was still a light in her eyes that lit up when she held that little girl in her arms. Lee noticed it in her smile that reached her eyes and in the light contagious laugh that only Kara could produce. He saw it go out just as quickly as the little girl was taken from Kara’s arms.

In Sync, ground-breaking, PG
“Are you sure you want this Kara?”
“For frak’s sake Lee. Just shut up.” Kara groaned as her hands started undoing the buttons on Lee’s dress blues.
“I love you Kara Thrace.”
Kara paused and looked up to finally meet Lee’s eyes. This was not how she planned for her and Lee to finally be together. Their timing was always horrible it seemed. However, at this moment Sam was the farthest thing from her mind.
“I know.” Kara smiled. “And to think I wasn’t even going to go to Baltar’s ground-breaking ceremony.
Lee smiled as his lips met hers.

Just a little push, medicine, G
Lee knew she was ready. All she needed was a kick in the ass.
“I can’t. I can’t do it,” panted Kara as Lee helped her lie down in sickbay.
“I’m on CAP soon anyway. Can I trust you to take your meds or do I have to smack you in your mouth?” smirked Lee.
Kara wasn’t amused but didn’t have the energy to argue.
“No sir.”
“It should be you up there with me Kara. The Starbuck I knew wouldn’t let an old Pyramid injury stop her.”
Inside Kara was fuming but she knew Lee Adama was the best medicine she could ask for.
