Date: 2011-07-20 04:15 pm (UTC)She always knew she’d end up on that wall. It had just been a matter of time. A clock ticking away the beats of her heart. She’d figured it would be OK…once she was gone.
But she’d never figured she’d be around to see herself up there. Beside Kat, smiling and hopeful like a memory should be.
She’d burned her own body, why shouldn’t she visit its shrine? She shook under the knowledge that whatever she was now; she wasn’t, couldn’t be her. Nothing could change that . . .except his hand on her face.
And she was Kara again.
***
I’ve Been To Earth, PG
He was panicked. She needed to give them more. He couldn’t protect her if she couldn’t prove it to the others.
“You said you’d been there.” He prodded for details. They wanted details, maps, something exact.
“I have!”
“Then where is it?” he begged. “What does it look like?”
“I don’t know,” She yelled back in frustration. “I don’t remember. I just know what it felt like.”
“What did it feel like then?” Please, he thought, something, anything.
She wrapped herself around him, holding him like her arms could wipe away his fear.
“It felt like this. It felt like home.”
He could breathe again.
***
FRAK SPACE, R
It didn’t take long for lust to outweigh guilt. The next night Zak brought them back together. The music of the club, the alcohol and their growing passion overtook them quickly. They danced while Zak talked with a classmate. Her hands around his neck, her breasts pushed tightly to his chest, all thoughts of decency gone. When she gave him a pointed look before sauntering to the bathroom, he didn’t hesitate to follow.
She was on him before the door shut, her eyes daring him to stop them.
“I can’t stop,” he groaned as he slid inside.
Her eyes sparkled, “Good.”

This is Not A Marriage, R
“Where were you?” He grit out through clenched teeth, watching her stumble in.
She giggled drunkenly as she struggled out of her clothes before collapsing to the bed.
“Out.”
“Don’t play with me, Kara.” He hated how crazy he sounded. He hated her for making him crazy.
“Don’t be so fun to play with then, Lee.” She laughed straddling his naked lap.
Stilling her hips he pushed for more. Anything.
“I deserve an answer.”
“Do you see a ring on this finger?” She asked breathlessly wiggling against him.
His eyes were pleading. “Then marry me.”
She just smiled and shook her head as she sank onto him.
“No.”
***
Missed You, Too, PG
He sees her again. Eventually. It takes a long time. A lifetime of exploring and rebuilding and hunting and planting. A lifetime of hard work in the days and quiet nights spent alone. His life a testament to his love for the people he led home. His time spent caring for them, helping them, making certain they survive.
When he slips away, it’s with a happy heart. He’s done his work and he knows where it leads.
His eyes open to her shining face, her outstretched hand. His long wait over, he reaches back.
“I missed you.”
“I missed you, too.”

Date: 2011-07-20 06:22 pm (UTC)Kara pulls away, quickly puts on her briefs and tanks.
“Where are you going?” Sam asks, disappointed.
She shrugs. “I have a CAP. I need to shower.” She slips through the curtain and into the bright, busy common area.
Lee is still staring at her hungrily.
She brushes past him and he follows her out, so close she can feel the heat rolling off him.
In the corridor Lee grabs her, pins her against the wall and kisses her hard, devouring her with his mouth.
“Right here, right now,” Kara begs.
No fantasy compares to Lee Adama frakking her senseless.
Blood & Sweat, PG
Kara blushes when it’s Lee who steps between the thin curtains. “I was kidding, Lee.”
He raises an eyebrow at her. “Would you rather Cottle did this?”
She flinches. “Alright, then.”
“Come here.” He gently helps her to sit up and peel off the layers of clothing she was wearing under her flightsuit. Her skin is dark with sweat and blood. He hopes most of it’s the Raider’s.
“Lee?” Kara asks when she’s naked and he’s still staring.
Now he blushes. “Sorry.” He holds the damp cloth an inch from her breast, then begins to tenderly wipe the grime away.
You Come Back Here, NC-17
“Hey!” Lee’s voice rings across the hangar deck just as Kara prepares to step into the Demetrius.
Helo glances past her. “Twenty minutes,” he says softly, and boards, leaving them alone.
“Lee!” Kara bursts out as he reaches her, and then she gives herself up to his kiss, to his demanding touch. There are no rules that matter anymore. Lee pulls their clothes away and Kara wraps her arms around his neck as he lifts her, thrusts deep inside her body. They both finally believe she’s alive.
“You come back this time,” he whispers hoarsely.
Kara nods hard. “I promise.”
Socrata, PG-13
The pilots are laughing as Kara strolls up. “What’s so funny?”
“Crashdown,” Lee splutters, “was telling us about how he broke his arm ice-skating.”
“In front of a girl,” Crashdown mutters.
She chuckles.
“What about you?” Racetrack asks. “Ever break a bone?”
Kara goes suddenly silent, then walks away.
“Hey!” Lee follows her out into the hall. “What’s wrong?” When Kara breaks into a run, he joins her, sticking beside her for nearly an hour until she collapses to the floor.
“Forty-eight,” Kara says, not meeting his eyes.
“What?”
She holds up her hands. “Broken bones.”
Lee holds her tightly.
It’s Over, Kara, G
She sets the Raptor down gently on the grass and they stumble out, gaze around at their new world.
“It’s over,” Lee murmurs, shaking his head in awe.
“What is?”
He grins. “The war. The journey. All of it.”
Kara smiles fondly. “I’m sure there’ll be some new journey before too long.”
Lee shrugs. “You’re probably right. But as long as we’re going together, I don’t care.”
“Sounds good to me.” Her face is alight as she takes in the beauty of the planet.
“I mean it.” Lee takes her hand in his, catches her eyes. “Marry me, Kara Thrace.”

"Don't be so fun to play with then, Lee"
is just so childish and Kara-y, and also, I imagine, the truth.
Good bingo :)

Date: 2011-07-20 08:37 pm (UTC)And You Come Back Here was just lovely. I can just hear Lee doing that hoarse, part-crying thing that JBambz is so good at when he tells her to come back.
Awesome.
And A Bingo for the road . . .
Date: 2011-07-20 08:50 pm (UTC)“It’s not cheating, Lee” She promised. “It’s just an un-traditional interpretation of the rules.”
“Yeah?” He whispered challengingly. “Tell that to Dee. Let’s see what she thinks.”
Rolling her eyes at his strict moral code, she sighed.
“Fine.”
“Good” he nodded, “No more counting cards at the table. Agreed?”
“Yes, sir.” She groused.
“Now go lose her back her socks.”
Stomping away, she called back over her shoulder.
“You used to be alot more fun before you were CAG, you know? I remember a time when you didn’t mind bending those rules so much.”
He blushed as he turned away and muttered under his breath.
“I remember too.”
***
Socrata; PG-13
Socrata Thrace had been a tyrant of a mother. Kara knew that. She had the scars to prove it, but she’d also made her strong. Strong enough to survive what she needed to survive. So Kara learned to forgive her. Even to eventually feel a kind of gratitude towards her. It took all that strength to survive this long. Kara didn’t know that she would have without the strength imbued by Socrata’s scars. But as Lee traced each mark with his hands and mouth, soothing away the memory of her mother’s lessons, though Kara’d forgiven, he knew he never would.

This is Not A Marriage; PG-13
Undercover ops were never Lee's favorite assignments.
Kara was, however, enjoying their charade immensely. Mostly, he figured, because of his discomfort.
“C’mon dear,” she said loudly, grabbing his hand. “Let’s see if we can find those blue pills for you.”
“Gods you’re bad at couple-like behavior.” He sighed as she skipped them along the halls of the Prometheus.
“Me?” She laughed, projecting her voice. “You’re the one too uptight to even touch me. What would our therapist say sweetie? Your physical insecurities aren’t good for our marriage.”
“THIS is not a marriage!” He hissed at her.
“Oh honey!” She pouted, kissing his cheek. “You wound me.”
***
Grounded, PG
Kara was used to being grounded. She’d made a habit of being grounded long before she’d ever gotten her wings. She’d also long since given up following the rules of those groundings. It used to be sneaking out windows, now it involved commissioning Viper jets for unauthorized flights to the Prometheus black market.
Lee was breathing fire by the time she returned.
“Lt. Thrace! You’re grounded for a reason! What makes you think you can just ignore a commanding officer’s order?!”
Climbing clumsily from the wing, she just smirked. “Stand down Daddy, whose fault is it that I can’t stop craving pickles?”
***
Grief, PG-13
Losing Zak had gut her. The grief had opened her chest and ripped from it all the moving parts. She was thankful. Empty shells don’t bleed. Numb, she charged ahead, daring anyone to try to touch her missing machinery.
But he’d walked behind her picking up her damaged pieces and slowly put them back, piece by bleeding piece. The pain returned and she hated him, until she saw how much his own pain needed hers.
His eyes begged for what his lips couldn’t.
“I can’t rebuild us from scratch. Just let me help fix what’s broken.”
For him, she’d stand the pain.
