What do you think of Lee shooting first rather than Starbuck?

Hmm, I keep wondering about Starbuck, how she follows or questions orders based on gut. But I agree, she fired as well, once Apollo made his decision, to spread the 'blame'.

I think maybe it says that he's more conditioned to follow orders than she - we all know she's a bit of a rebel, and I think she follows her own conscience first.

I actually wonder what it says that she did it right after him. Was she following his lead? Backing him up so he didn't have all the blame? Or was it that once he'd fired she would finish it quicker for anyone in the OC by targeting the other engine (quick oblivious death vs. slower and aware)

Or all of the above??

Definitely I think it was sharing the blame/responsibility. Like being in a firing squad - you'd never 'know' if it was your bullet that actually killed the executed or that you can help spread the responsibility/guilt among the other shooters. Personally, I'd feel it would be compounding the guilt around.
