ETA: I think the world is sorely lacking a fusion of BSG and PotC. Or HIMYM. Or Community. I NEED THESE IN MY LIFE.
Or one where Lee is a dainty little dove who's been sheltered all his life, who moves to the big city to be independent. And Kara is the seasoned pigeon who teaches him the ropes of window ledge living in the city. They fall in love but the other pigeons and Lee's family DISAPPROVES and so there is SO MUCH DRAMA.
Someone write this for me.

"This is what you eat?" Lee ruffled his feathers, as he perched at the edge of the sidewalk. Kara glanced up at him from the gutter as she pecked at a half-eaten hot dog sitting in a puddle of what seemed to be motor oil. He hoped it wasn't anything else. "That can't be sanitary."
"Lesson number one of the big city, Leland," she said, wings fluttering as she hopped back up onto the sidewalk. "Eat what you find. This is some good shit. Best food, though, is over in Chinatown."
"But it's garbage!" he insisted.
"Right," she drawled. "And what did you eat in the woods. Seeds and berries? Good luck, finding that in the city." On a good gust of wintry wind, Kara took off into the air, leaving Lee to struggle along after her.
"There has to be somewhere. What about in Central Park?" he panted as he caught up.
Kara wobbled a bit, mid-flight. "Sure. If you think you can take on Cavil and his murder of crows."
"Cavil?" he asked. "Someone I should know about?"
Kara found a nice gargoyle to perch herself on, with a great view of the park. Lee settled along beside her and she draped her wing across his back. "Little Leland, you got a lot to learn about life in the big city. But stick with me, maybe you'll survive."

plot devicewoman that Lee was "serious" with and she was pregnant. So he naturallybeing wildly out of characterpushed her away, fled and abandoned her at the first sign of something serious. *insert big eye roll here*Anyway, I was in the middle of working on a Lee fanmix when I was thinking about that scene when he apparently told her to take a hike. Since we never actually HEAR the conversation between him and Gianne I got to thinking some evil cracky thought like, what if she told him she was prego with.... DUN DUN DUN Zak's baby! *gasp* the irony!
hmmm ok, that actually sounded a hell of a lot funnier in my head... maybe someone else will get my wacky sense of humor here. hehe :)
