DPP: Gettin Silly Wit' It

1) Once upon a time, on a battlestar far far away, there lived a fair-haired maiden and a square-jawed prince. They were uncommonly well-suited, as in most epic romance tales, but, sadly, theirs did not have a happy ending... 
2) He was faster than a speeding bullet, able to leap buildings in a single bound... but his Kryptonite came in the form of a green(ish)-eyed woman named Kara Thrace. 
3) When the Fleet finally reached Earth, they were heralded as heroes and their pictures were mounted in Times Square for all to see and rejoice. 
4) Turned out this oracle gig wasn't very hard at all. You just told people a bunch of bullshit that ended with "you'll meet a gorgeous stranger" or "you'll come into a lot of money" and they left pretty damn happy. One thing you never told anyone? That they were the harbinger of anything. (Most didn't even know what the word harbinger meant anyhow.) 
5) At a press conference today, President Leland Adama made the international symbol V for Victory and announced the happy news that the humans have defeated the cylons and won the war! As to the matter of his alleged affair with fighter pilot-turned-spiritual figure Kara Thrace, Adama said "I did not have relations with...Er, no comment." 
6) Once the new model had shed his clothes, Kara Thrace found that drawing him--this Lee Adama--was more difficult than she anticipated. She seemed to keep getting stuck at the hip dents...
7) When it got too cold outside to play pyramid, Kara and Zak convinced Lee--bribed him with the promise later of a nice mug of hot chocolate and big fluffy marshmallows, actually--to come sledding with them. In truth, Lee hated the way the wind whipped through him as he sledded down the hillside alone on his little plastic sled, and hated even more the way Kara and his brother laughed, clinging together for warmth, on their sled built for two. 
8) Lee kept his promise to always remember Kara. In fact, he did one better--he got a tattoo of her face, offset by glorious wings and a halo. She was, after all, his own personal guardian angel.
