Hmm. I don't have any pictures at the moment, but I do have an icon to illustrate my point thanks to sci_fi_shipper! One of my favorites would have to be the dance--they do get rather touchy at the end, especially when Lee lifts her head so that they can eye frak in UBEX. Awwww.

And speaking of dances, I also like when they hold hands for the dance dance in UB's flashbacks...

Anyone got more pictures of these scenes handy? (Uh, pun intended! Hee.)

That's my favorite moment, when he fumbles to lift her head and it's sooooo intense! Such a moment of reconnection.

Oh I know, but I like how quickly/desperate the fumble to lift her head is in the episode. It loses a little something here. And sadly I couldn't fit the frame where she smiles right after this and laughs. When I have more time I'll have to tackle a new animated gif of this moment.

Hey there ~ well I will tardily contribute to this discussion by paying tribute to the great "almost touch" moments between Kara and Lee as well, which add a lot to their chemistry, I think.

* I love the moment in "Six Degrees of Separation" where Lee is hovering behind Kara as she tries to take her first steps on her bum knee. He's doing the awkward sarcasm thing verbally, but his hand hovers just behind her back, and his movements are so aligned with hers that he looks even more stilted than she does as they take those first few steps. Plus his expression turns into unmasked concern just as soon as he moves behind her where she can't see him. So sweet!

* One of my favorite beats in their big "Scar" scene is the moment right after she tells him there's nothing between them. He says, "Sure" and brushes past her, but then she starts to sit and he suddenly moves to match her, and he puts himself just behind her and doesn't actually touch her but he's still incredibly close. I don't know what it is about that move that comes across as both appeasement and affection, but it just does. It obviously gets to her because she starts up and moves away in a flash. It's just a lovely moment where they are both saying a lot without words.

* Their little "not touching yet, but about to" moments get to me every time, too. I love the long, wordless lead-in to their first kiss on New Caprica. And in the lovely "Islanded" scene, the best thing about it is the hesitance you see as Lee raises his hand to her face, and later as he withdraws it with a self-conscious little gesture. It's those moments of hesitation which communicate more clearly than anything else that touching means a lot them, that they feel a significance in what they are doing and that they are completely aware of what it means when they reach for each other. It's romantic. So, yay for the almost-touch :)
