Special destinies. Poofs. Pigeons. Almost table fraks. We all have things that we don't like about canon. But what about fanon? Do you not like when Starbuck is characterized as an easy lay? Right on! I always get the feeling that the author of those particularly Cirque du Soleil sex scenes hasn't really experienced them and it's pure fantasy, but I tend to lose interest too when it's just way too pretzel-like.

er........... I've done that too. I will admit that sex-against-a-wall is not nearly as easy IRL but I still write it, simply because it's a sure-fire button for me.

I'm more bothered by magically!disappearing!clothes - one minute they're dressed and the next they're butt naked. I don't see that in pilots fic as much as other fandoms, but perhaps it's because I hit the back button quickly for other reasons...
