DPP: Unfinished business
Jun. 3rd, 2010 10:17 amBefore we get to today's topic, I really do have some unfinished business to take care of. ;) The poll for your favorite scenes is now closed, and the awards ceremony post will go up this evening.
Okay! With that announcement out of the way, let's talk about

In UB, Bill mentions to Laura that a dance is a military tradition. Now, since they've been on the run, they probably haven't had the time to have one previously, but if they had, would Kara and Lee still have ended up in the ring? At what points would they have been least likely to call each other out? Or would they always have fought? Who else would they call out and why? If civilians could participate, would Lee and Sam have fought?
Talk amongst yourselves! :D See you back here tonight for the exciting conclusion to YOUR FAVORITE PILOTS SCENES! /dramatic announcer voice

But I also think you're right. Dee isn't a fists and kicks type of girl. She fights as dirty as Pilots, but she fights with her head and her tongue and her emotions.
I think I could see Sam calling out Lee around Eye of Jupiter, though. He was hurting and the betrayal... He didn't seem to care so very much who was watching when Kara was trying to keep them from pummeling each other on the Algae planet. But for the most part, I agree. Sam was too laid back to bring it to fisticuffs.
