Decided to post this on a weekend so that people ought to have more time to do it.

1. A song with lyrics that have flight imagery.
2. A screencap of Kara smiling
3. A picture of a pigeon
4. A fanfic that makes an “Arrow of Apollo” joke
5. A BSG joke about Starbucks Coffee. (Quote from a fic, or visual joke)
6. A screencap of Lee being Leemo
7. A pre-mini pilots fic
8. A picture of an ordinary thing that is not necessarily Pilots in nature, but could be related… (i.e. a sculpture of Apollo)

Hello there! This is fun ~ I don't have time to do the whole thing right now, but I thought I'd share some of the items I could find quickly:

1) A pilots song with lyrics about flight: This one has a lot of rain and water lyrics, but it combines them with flight, so I think it works. I associate it with Lee after the finale:

3) A picture of a pigeon: Darn it! I have a cute one in my pictures file on my computer, but I don't know how to insert it into this post ~ copy and paste doesn't work, I guess. Could anyone possibly drop me a note to give me a quick LiveJournal lesson on how to post a picture? Sorry to bother you all with my technological incompetence...

I love this story by Lint, it has such great characterization; Lee is so good at being sneakily diplomatic, and Kara is so full of attitude and insecurity. It's awesome.

8) A picture of pilots-related real life thing: I'm rubbish at posting pictures, but here's a link:

This is a picture of Aurora in the form of the aurora borealis ~ this particular photo looks like a pair of giant wings in space, which makes it especially appropriate for Kara :)

I'm so sorry to bother you, but could I ask one additional question? I can see how to upload pictures from my files when I write an LJ entry on my profile page, because there I have a full toolbar that appears when I'm writing my comment. But it looks like if I try to post such a comment to this community, it would come up at the top of the journal like one of the main moderator posts rather than as a reply to the ongoing conversation threads. And alternatively, when I click to leave a comment in one of the threads, like this one, I don't see any toolbar appear when I'm writing, so I'm not sure how to upload things into this post.

I'm sorry if I'm being dense ~ I really am pathetic at figuring this stuff out. Please don't feel like you have to reply, but if you know where I'm making my mistake, maybe you could let me know. Thanks again, and best wishes!

Once you get a place for the pic to live online (or have the web address for one already there), you'll need to use a line of HTML to imbed it in a comment field. To keep the line from acting like there was an actual picture, I've removed the starting "<" and ending ">". Replace the Xs with your file address.

No problem. I taught myself HTML about 15(!) years ago so I could post Janeway and Chakotay pictures on my first 'shipper boards for Star Trek Voyager. *g*
