So just for kicks, I played around with a random question generator today and came up with the following silly questions related pilots. Feel free to answer any or all of these (and if it's a question about Lee and you'd rather answer it about Kara, or vice versa, that's cool too!). And, at the end, there’s a more serious bonus question for you all! Thanks for sticking it out with me at the DPP this week!

1.If Lee and Kara are forced to roleplay out a verbal couple fight, Lee and Kara will immediately get in a disagreement on who will play the wife. This will lead to an actual fight, and the two of them will end up nose to nose screaming about stereotyping.

2.I personally would rather get stuck with Lee, but that’s only because if it involved handcuffs, then something might start happening...

3.My husband tells me I have a very Starbuck-sounding laugh. It carries... LOUDLY. I personally think I have a single-minded perseverance that is somewhat similar to her too.

4.Lee is loyal.

5.Lee wouldn’t be caught dead in leisurewear.

6.I’d love to receive a mystery gift from Kara, but I’d probably open it in secret, since there’s no knowing what it’d be.

7.If I found out Kara and Lee were secretly aliens cylons plotting to take over the world, then a whole bunch of my issues with BSG are moot. Kara’s not gone; there’s a chance for some kind of resolution to ALL those things that bugged me. I guess I’d be the first volunteer for the welcoming committee.

8.I believe Apollo, on our current earth, would constantly be mistaken for Jamie Bamber. Except Apollo, of course, with his viper pilot cred and post-apocalyptic angstyness is WAY hotter.

9.I’m reasonably sure that Kara is like most people who have been forced to learn to play the piano as a child, and no longer plays it. On her own, she’d probably picked up the guitar.

10.Frankly I don’t think either Kara or Lee would make a good superhero sidekick because Kara would constantly be charging into the fight without waiting and Lee would be trying to read the manual for the utility belt at the WORST possible times.

11.Apollo’s opinion on cheese post- Lay Down Your Burdens is MORE! Post-Unfinished Business is 12 STEP PROGRAM.

12.If I wandered into the (bunk)room and found Starbuck’s personal diary I would totally read it. And then I’d go write some fanfic... or is that what I did?!? Mwa ha ha ha!

13.If Lee got turned into an animal he’d be a panther. This is a gut reaction; no idea why.

14.If Kara, Lee and I went on a super fun fun adventure amusement park marathon, Kara would insist on doing all the daredevil rides, Lee would want to spend all his time winning prizes at the games tables and I’d be taking photographs like crazy so I could post them. “OMG it’s Kara/Lee on the Zipper!”

15.I personally think Kara’s insults to Lee tend to be attacks on his attributes. “Daddy’s boy” comes to mind.

16.Hot Apollo on Starbuck action – ARE YOU FRAKKING KIDDING? This isn’t just a gimme... this is a question to find out whether you should be part of this community or note.

17.On modern Earth, Lee would be a big fan of epic HBO televisions series like Rome, Deadwood and... Battlestar Galactica.

18.In a race between you, Kara and Lee: I’d win for writing. Kara would win for running. Lee would win for president.

19.Kara’s theme song is Chemicals between Us by Bush.

20.In a duel with vipers, Kara wins, hands down.

Bonus Question:

The whole Battlestar Galactica experience brought me into fanfiction in general. I already wrote and published, (primarily magazine articles and the occasional other chapters for collected works), but fanfic is such a different experience altogether. I’ve been able to connect with cool people who share similar interests. I’ve had amazing writers send me notes of encouragement. And I’ve discovered LiveJournal, which I’d never even heard of before that. It has COMPLETELY distracted me from my grad studies... LOL... It’s awesome!
