Hi you all my fellow K/L shippers! How’s the rewatch?

As you may have noticed, this week we haven’t posted the recap for “Act of Contrition” (one of my favorite eps of S1 and my personal Kara!epiphany, btw). Sorry, but some unavoidable and crazy RL stuff kept me away from LJ land most of this week. Sniff. So as the recap for "You Can' Go Home Again" was scheduled for this Wednesday 5th, I'll be posting a joint AoC/YCGOH discussion post then. Is it OK?

 

I promise to bring pilot finger-painting, pilot wing-waggling, and Kara suggesting that Lee bathe her *g* (and some Kara/Zak/guilt issues too—because I am an angst-whore like that ;)).

Awww... Pilots are just too cute for words...

Is it wrong that this delay in posting a discussion makes me happy? I still have to post my thoughts on Bastille Day. This gives me more time and then I shall be ready for probably couple of the best episode of BSG.

Come on pilot finger painting, talks of baths and pilots recognizing their love for each other. Great stuff.

Sorry RL has been busy. I too hate that it takes time away from LJing.

Hope RL gives you a break soon. As Lee says in AoC, "Step. Back." (I envision you saying that to whatever has you bogged down and away from LJ.) That and the finger painting scene are my two favorites in this eppy...one super angsty, the other super cute. I look forward to your post!

No worries, RL has been crazy here too...and like rdave, the delay gives me time to catch up with my Bastille Day posting in order to be ready for two of my favorite epis ever!!

Hee! So you are happy because of the delay? Glad to hear it! ;) I just had a crazy crazy week (but nothing bad... In fact, most of it is good stuff --like I am leaving to Portugal in four days! ;)). Anyway, I will post the discussion before leaving --I loooove this story arc!

Hee! Yeah, yeah... "Step. Back". The line is perfect for me right now! (I just had a crazy week but thanks God I started my holidays today :)). And yes! those two scenes are of my favorites too --cute!pilots and Lee in his alpha mode (LOVE him when he acts this way, especially with Kara :P).

Btw, I just wanted to let you know that I am loving your rec-posts (it must be really difficult to find fics for every eppi, thanks for doing it! --the same goes for Tara and Heather, of course... Team work is the best! :)).

Ya lo habrás visto, ya estoy de vuelta!! (bueno, más o menos, creo que no volveré a estar a "pleno rendimiento" hasta que no vuelva de Lisboa ;)) Es que he tenido una semana loca entre 1) síndrome pre-vacacional en el trabajo con muuuucha faena 2) preparaciones para el viajecito veraniego 3) visitas varias al ginecólogo --hoy tuve la última, yay!!! :)

Pero bueno, el post de este primer arco de Kara estará listo para el miércoles pase lo que pase :) Y respecto a los picspams... en serio, como te decía antes, quiedas nombrada oficialmente picspammer de la rewatch (y de nuestra Shipper Nation! Nadie hace los picspams de Kara y Lee como tú, IMHO! :))

Thanks Liz! I had a crazy --and exhausting-- week... But today I just started my holidays... Yay! :D
So you are a fan of AoC and YCGHA too? I love that arc! (as I was saying, these eppis were the ones that made me fall in love with Kara and discover the "real" Starbuck). Really good stuff (and so much pilot cuteness ;))

As for the rewatch... you are welcome! Most K/L shipper needed this sort of therapy after the finale... and that's why Bee and I decided to start this rewatch thingy (hope you are enjoying it!). And of course, feel free to drop by and leave your insights and opinions whenever you feel like! (that's the best part of a rewatch, imo, sharing the pilot!love with fellow K/L shippers :D).

OMG, I am just writing the post right now and this is turning out to be... so thick and wordy and meta-ish --let's face it, I can't write anything light and succinct when it comes to pilots ;)

And I started my holidays yesterday but I haven't had much time to enjoy them (yet), I have so much to do before I leave... But at least I don't have to go to work, which is... fantastic (btw, I hope your new job is treating you well. I know from personal experience how stressful can be working so many hours).

(Btw Heather, just A brief update... I eventually got S4.5 DVD's --it is pathetic, I will be getting the whole series in Blu-Ray for my birthday in October but... I wanted that cover and having pilots side my side on my self. Sigh. Stupid fangirl ;P. Oh, and I got S4 soundtrack too. I couldn't help myself. Bear's music is *g*).

*hugs you* Sorry for the late response. I've been lurking for the last couple of days, just was in a strange mood.

Okay, I know I've told you this before, but I am still so in love with that icon. The coloring is really lovely!

Anway, I saw your AoC/YCGHA post! I'm waiting to read and comment until I've watched those. Annnnd the reason I haven't watched yet is I'm trying to convert my friend and neighbor to pilots love! (Don't know that she's really feeling it, at least not yet) So I've been getting her caught up, and now we're at those two eps. As soon as we watch them, I'll be there. :)

Oh, holidays. Aren't they wonderful? Mmmm. I hope you're taking some time for yourself, missy, and just relaxing! You deserve it. Not having to work was a good start, but I just hope that by now you're having lots of fun.

The new job is stressful. You're right, it's hard getting used to those hours. I just feel tired all the time, and jealous of people who get to have fun on the weekends. So I feel like I'm not a very nice person at the moment. Yuck. Hope I settle into it all soon.

Well, Sonia, what can I say?! I'm glad I'm not the only one who is a silly fangirl. Despite my feelings for 4.5, I just...had to have it. Weird. And I'll probably get the whole series on Blu-Ray one day too just because the show is so pretty in high def.

I just got my S4 soundtrack!!! I am in love with it. For some reason, Gaeta's Lament is probably my favorite song right now. Not exactly sure why, since I didn't even like it that much when it was in the show! And of course I also love "Farewell Apollo" and "Kara Remembers." It's not Bear's fault the writing was so disappointing--he did an amazing job with the music!
