I don't have a pic but I always associate this song with Lee thinking about Kara when she is on her mission on the garbage ship.

Reading these lyrics, the first thing that popped into my head was the poof. Requires more thought, but I'd never looked at it as Lee letting her go because that's what she needed rather than Kara leaving him.

I don't think about the finale but more about after Kara came back and she had to leave on the Demetrius and find who she was.
