Hiya Shipper Nation,

Congratulations on our survival and ability to flourish over the past year!!  Thank you all for taking our girl's "fight 'em til we can't" and applying it to keeping the K/L torch burning in the face of adversity (aka RDM/poofing/poor writing/QoD fail ships, etc).  In honor of our one year "angst-puppy rating: infinity" anniversary, I bring you the ending we were supposed to see.  Courtesy of taragel:

It's so quiet here on weekends, lol.

Anyway, wow, yeah, a year since Daybreak! I thought it'd hit me harder than it actually has, but pretty much I'm just so glad we're all still here and that we've made it out of what were a pretty tough days and weeks and months post-finale, even for those who liked it. The show is dead; long live the Kara/Lee ship and shippers!

Even though I've been around this fandom for years now, I've never been able to put into words exactly why I love Kara/Lee as much as I do. Nothing seems to encompass all the million reasons. :) But just for starters, I love that they're equals, that they always love each other even when they don't like each other, that their personalities and skills complement each other brilliantly, and that they're completely and undeniably INEVITABLE.

It's hard for me to describe everything they are to each other and to me, too. Nothing seems like enough. Individual moments I can expound upon for days, but trying to sum up their totality is near impossible. Beyond insane, even. ;)

I agree, it's hard for me too, putting K/L love into words. I've really found that out this week while doing the DPPs. All I know is that I love them just for being them and that's enough. Sort-of the same way they love each other I think.

And yes, completely and most definitely INEVITABLE. :)
