Kara talks to Ellen instead of Saul on New Caprica after her night with Lee and Ellen encourages her to follow her heart and take what she can, while she can. After Kara returns in the raider from the Red Moon, Lee keeps lurking/secretly following her, being all mother hen-like and protective and worried, and Kara figures it out and catches him and makes fun of him but then does something sweet to prove she *gets* it and okay, maybe kinda don't-tell-anyone likes it
Lee backs up Kara when she shoots Admiral Cain--what happens next?
A latecomer to the Academy, Lee is Kara's student instead of Zak... (aka a TOP GUN crossover? LOL! Bonus points for shirtless volleyball with Lee and Helo)
A fic about friendship or working together that maybe has some UST (because when don't they) but is mostly about their friendship and how they become mom/dad to pilots.
