How long have you shipped? I play all over with ships, but since I watched the end of the show in 2010, and round here since mid 2011.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? There's so much scope and enthusiam for them here, and as has been said, the sweetness and the talent of the authors, readers and posters.

Enough to be unable to watch Unfinished Business without a bottle of something strong in my hand and sobbing/whimpering nearly all the way through, and this scenario will go through lather, rinse, repeat when Maelstrom and Daybreak come along (I'm going through a full series rewatch with Ana at the mo).
How long have you shipped? They've been first in my heart from the day I watched the miniseries (six years ago), but as far as fandom participation beyond the reading of fic goes, I've only been in this for about two years.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? The fact that they were so cheated, and the fact that I'm not alone in being devastated by that, while loving them for all they were.

Also this commentfic (http://no-takebacks.livejournal.com/331131.html?thread=16279163#t16279163) by Rachel (because who doesn't love crossovers with pilots in superhero mode?)
I'm also really loving Nora's fic, though I haven't read all of it - she wrote it a while ago, but it's a recentish discovery for me :)

How long have you shipped? Coming up on three years.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? They make me feel all the things and they are the ones I write the most. I love exploring their relationship and they are my ultimate escape. Even though things have dwindled around LJ, I still feel that passion in my heart for them. It aches and stings, and sometimes I'm still pretty angry, but I love them and BSG the same. And of course, the fangirls are the best part of the whole thing.

What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? Everything... the people, the incredible level of talent, the squeeage, the lack of nasty ship wars, and most of all, the sheer amount of feels I still have for these two almost 3 years later.

How long have you shipped?: Summer 2009 when I spent an entire month chowing through the series and then discovered BSG fanfic.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom?: They've just become such a part of my life I don't want to let them go. And they need a better resolution than they were given.

How long have you shipped? Pilots? Seems like forever. Thinking logically about it - i guess that about 3 years.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? WAW - the awesomenes of the pilots of course but also - the people around here. I strongly believe that it would be impossible for this fandom to be as active as it is without the great community. Here you can always find some new fic, some interesting idea and always somebody able to make you ssmile on a bad day.

Current level of interest in pilots? EXTREMELY HIGH! Like another poster...I'm still "there"....can't watch Unfinished Business, Eye of Jupiter, Lay Your Burdens Down, Maelstrom, Six of One you get the idea without a knot in my stomach nearly all the way through (and perhaps a bit of depression lol). And I too am doing a complete rewatch of the entire series...this time taking notes as I watch of things I notice/feel....maybe someday I'll do a fic...and I have tons of thoughts I'd like to throw out for discussion (though I'm so new they've probably been discussed multiple times)
How long have you shipped? I was late to watch, but ever since I did watch about 4-5 years ago. Mini Part 2 was my first time shipping them.... and my heart breaks the same every.single.time still. Joined the fandom just under a year ago b/c I had no clue until then that such a thing existed. Would be miserable if it weren't here. I mostly lurk, but do participate when it isn't a big writing challenge. Am an active reader.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom? I'm going to borrow from winegums b/c it pretty much perfectly summed it up for me. The fact that they were so cheated, WE were so cheated, my heart so broken, and the fact that I'm not alone in being DEVASTATED by that, while loving them for all they were. I don't WANT to stop immersing myself in that world...even if the ending breaks my heart and crushes my soul. Here, I feel more peace about it b/c I amongst those who "get it". I love asking questions about the characters/motivations and having related discussions. Loved answering those questions and seeing others answers. I've started writing some little drabbles.

Like SO many others I had friends telling me I HAD to watch, finally got around to it devoured it at the expense of sleep lol. I wouldn't be surprised if there are others like me out there, late to find & watch and in need of some soul soothing :)

How long have you shipped?: I first wrote them for the ship-swap last summer.
What keeps you coming back to pilots fandom?: The people here are really nice. And Kara and Lee are central to each other's arcs and I'm fascinated by both of them in different ways.
