I do like that Kara was the one to pin her to the memorial wall

and that LEE IS THERE. (**cries**)

finally, FINALLY some acknowledgment of what happened in UB, I was afraid it was going to be too much of a slow burn afterwards.

in a way Kara was the only one who could have done it. she was the one who made Kat be what she was in the end. All of them had their influence (Adama, Lee, Hotdog and the rest) but Kara was her role-model (?).

that's true, she's the one who shaped Kat as a pilot, and of all her S1 nuggets she was probably closest - as much as Kara can be close to anyone without them actually being a friend - to Kat. And I feel it's true that Kara's always been Kat's role model of sorts, too.

(side note: I'd completely forgotten that it was sort of implied she and Hot Dog had a thing. It's so blink-and-you-miss-it)
