Daily Pilots Post: A Captain in the Hand is Worth....

The Captain's Hand is one of my favorite episodes of BSG because it's primarily about pilots and it runs the gamut of emotions. We get all different varieties of pilots including:

So what's your take on Captain's Hand? Did Kara and Lee really not talk/see each other for a whole month leading up to this episode? Why not? What do you think was really going on?

What do you think of Lee's summary that he was pissed because she gets away with things and he doesn't?

Do you firmly believe they would have been frakking five minutes after this episode ended because that hug was not a "JUST FRIENDS" kind of hug? Huh, huh, do ya, do ya? ;)

I didn't ask or expect you to mince words about Lee or Dee. I do ask and expect you not to slap at me, especially in a thread that I create that is intended to bring the happy.

As for double standards? I try not to lump everyone together in some big conspiracy or assume that EVERYONE feels a certain way. We all have different things that we like and different things that we don't. There are plenty of members of this comm who hate Dee, and there are those that hate Sam. Some people don't really like Kara much, some people don't like Lee much. But in a thread designed to celebrate the ship, I just want us to celebrate the ship as much as we can, you know? Discuss things, even when we have differences, yes, but get passive aggressive about other shippers' opinions and try to predict what they would and wouldn't do and stereotype... is not necessary IMO.

HATE THE SHIP/CHARACTER, NOT THE SHIPPER.
