Good job guessing yesterday y'all! Today, I thought it might be fun if we took a look at some recent headlines that included the words "Starbuck(s)", "Apollo" and "fra(c)king" and repurposed them as pertaining to our pilots. :D

For example, of the prompts below, Starbuck turning into a tech company, could lead to a story about Starbuck being a cylon. :D It may take a bit of a twisted mind and some ingenuity to make some of these fit, but I thought it'd be fun to see what discussions, fic prompts, graphics or actually ficlets you might come up with based on these. Bonus points if you actually use additional details beyond the headlines from each news story as well! Feel free to find and link your own news articles that would make good pilot tales/discussion as well!

WHOA, now I have to make sure I never see this so I don't end up picturing Zak Efron in place of Lee.


And the idea of Starbuck settling down to open a tea shop is also pretty hilarious.

I can't see her as a tea drinker, myself. Unless it was the really strong builder's tea that comes in mugs - the idea of Kara handling a china teacup or setting out scones is....let's just say I spat out some of my own tea at the idea.

There were several scenes that were reminiscent of canon oddly! We were having fun writing our own fic in our heads (I saw with eugie and aurora_O811)

But that's what makes it genius crack! Why would she open a tea shop? Has to be cover for something, right? ;)

shit I even spelled Zefron's name wrong, canon really did eat my brain lol.

I think it can be so much fun to talk about crossover crack, I'd love to know how you guys spun it out even if you were talking about it in a comment thread and not in a fic proper.

But yes, I can see Kara opening a tea shop with hidden mics planted on the underside of every table, and secret rooms in the back for the Top-Secret Special Spy Stuff.

though now that I think about it, I can more easily see Lee as a tea drinker, out of the two of them. (and I mean the kind where you have to decide about milk and sugars, and cover up your teapot with a tea-cosy). If she ran a teashop, he would TOTALLY visit it.
