DPP: As simple as

On Monday we talked about some of our favourite new BSG fiction, so if anyone has any that they think really deserves a read, head over there and recommend the crap out of it!
Yesterday we talked about the aspects of Lee and Kara's characters we most enjoy/identify with.
Today I thought we'd have a little fun.
Here's how the alphabet meme works. In the first comment I will post a prompt that begins with A. Then someone has to fill that prompt, in any way you like, writing, graphics, gifs, whatever takes your fancy.
Whosover fills the first prompt has to start a NEW comment thread (otherwise it will just get messy) with a prompt beginning with B. You can post a prompt ONLY if you fill the previous prompt, but if someone has already filled the prompt that you liked before you you can still make something for that letter.
Now, I'm a completist so I'm really hoping that we can make it to the end of the alphabet, I'll be AFK for a few hours but I'm coming by later to get my groove on. I hope some of you will join me :D.

“Come on Kara,” Zak whines a little, he's been trying to get her to eat the thing for almost five minutes now. Lee doesn't know why his little brother is so determined, but he thinks he's maybe trying to prove something because Lee's there.
“Not for ten million cubits. Not on your life.” Kara's resolve is steadfast, unwavering. Zak rolls his eyes. Lee chuckles.
“They say it's an aphrodisiac...” Zak tells her, voice low, laden with meaning.
Lee's eyes flick up from his book to Kara, instinctively, to see her reaction, he can't help himself. He never can. He's fast enough to catch the panic flash across her face, her eyes glance over him almost imperceptibly before she recovers. He knows she's thinking about the same thing he is.
Before he knows it the old Kara is back in place, her eyes wide and lazy, her smile crooked, as she refuses the oyster one more time.
Lee doesn't know if Zak saw Kara's reaction or if he's just bored with trying. But he stops trying to convince her to eat it.
None of them talk for a little while.

Flying was what she knew, she was Starbuck. And Starbuck didn't give a frak about about anything besides flying and Kara didn’t want to think about the complications of life right now. The anger and ache she'd felt when she’d stormed away from Lee was too raw for her to deal with right now.
