he hates him on the spot. I never understood why. or more to the point they never explained why (not as far as I recall). maybe he feels threatened, but I don't see why.

I think it partly is because he's so young and happens to be the Commander's son.

Like, Galactica's CAG before Lee as well as this dude look in their late 30s/40s, while Lee is supposed to be, what, in his late 20s?

The age difference should be responsible for some part of it but seems a little too much. I mean Cain is way younger than Adama and we don;t see him act like a crazy teenager.

anyway, I just would have liked some back story into their relationship.
