These pics remind me yet again of how amazing these two were together. Both the characters but also how utterly incredible Jamie and Katee were in the roles.

I wonder how long it will take them to look back, watch these performances and realize, "OMG ... the role of a lifetime and that chemistry is unmatchable."

I remember watching them together from the beginning and getting shivers realizing the lightning in a bottle.

It's something else. I've never seen chemistry like this. (Almost makes me wish they were movie actors in the 40s where it was more repertory company-like and actors would play against each other again and again. Sigh.)

I highly recommend the novel it comes from. In the Woods is a mystery with buddy cops who share a thing or two with our favorite pilots (esp. Cassie, who is rather Kara-esque). They're not a couple but everyone thinks they are, until one night when they do get it together and then...it all goes downhill. (Sadly reminiscent of our kids, eh?)

Dude! I read In the Woods! It was pretty horrifically awesome. Did you read the second one? Featuring his partner? You have to suspend all belief and mourn the loss of some elegant writing, but it's decent.

On another note... PRETTY PILOTS ARE PRETTY.

I did indeed! I liked Cassie's book too, thought not quite as much as the first one. There was still some lovely writing in that one too, especially in the opening chapters. I admit to being heartbroken at the...aborted phone call. ;)

I'm less interested in Frank's story but his book comes out at the end of the month I think.

Isn't it perfect? You absolutely should read the book! They have a relationship that is VERY VERY pilots. (Sad ending included, but it's a fantastic novel, with beautiful writing.)
