International Rewatch - s02e05 - The Farm

So, in about 15 minutes (more or less) we are scheduled to watch The Farm. Since in the last weeks there was a very low interest in these rewatches I decided to do a poll concerning them. The question is[Poll #1836980]

As one of the people who's in here on a regular basis I would like it if we continued, but I would understand if it's not worth the effort to host it considering the low turnout some weeks :(

ust past the previouslies....I wonder how long Kara's been at the resistance base camp/on Caprica in general, now? (I think she left her apartment with her Hummer keys pretty soon after getting there and taking a rest in VOD).

Also, Kara and Sam are hot in that previously bit. I wanted them to hook up, I just didn't want the show to pretend he was the one for her and not Lee.

It's a funny thing to say but the nuked!Caprica lighting makes Katee's face look so beautiful. Especially in the bit where she's been shot but hasn't realised it yet, she's utterly gorgeous.

Oh goodness, Kara's face. Katee is KILLING IT this episode, whether it's the pure terror and desperation after she figures out where she is, or the little badass smirk she gives Simon when he walks in on her reading.

I love that both episode 1.05 and 2.05 involved attempted rescues of Kara....and Kara ended up rescuing herself instead.

Gods, Adama is really affected by this whole Boomer thing. I know that she shoot him but he shows more emotion about this than about the fact that both Kara and Lee left. at least at this point in the story.

Not as anything more than a fun fling anyway, this 2-episode True Romance thing makes no sense and wouldn't even have happened if Simon hadn't told her he was dead first - and they built it up into way too big a deal just to cockblock pilots.
