what, where did the pics of her with the "bona fisculia" tattoo come from? i keep seeing that pop up in fic and couldn't remember anything in cannon it related to. now it's in these pics, but i went back and i am sure katee doesn't have that tattoo. please explain!

It's Katee's own personal tattoo, and yes she's had it for years. Before BSG...

That is definitely Katee's tattoo. She's talked about it in a few interviews. It's my favorite of her tattos, meaning 'public property'. Maybe someone else can point to her actual statements about it.

I guess they got more creative in blotting that tattoo out, e.g., no awful bandages or long pieces of hair. LOL. :)
