Daily Pilots Post - Vids to Remember

These are two of my favorite pilots vids of all time, OF ALL TIME YO! (Are Kanye jokes seriously passe by now? Probably, right?) I'm embedding them here so we can group discuss them but I'm also posting links back to the makers' homepages too. Please go there and leave them feedback if you like the vids. It will surely mean a lot to them!  


OK, first, a romantic one.m_a_r_i_k_s' When You Say Nothing at All (to the Ronan Keating version of this song, which I'd never heard before being much more familiar with Allison Krauss's stunning version and the Keith Whitley original). This is a beautiful vid all about the way Kara and Lee eyefrak make eye contact throughout the series. I'm joking about the sexing/chemistry because their shared glances are really so much more than that. They're support and comfort and understanding and empathy and strength for each other without words. It's pure Love. These actors, man, they can do so much with just their eyes. It slays me every time.

Now, a fun/crack one! boom_queen's Speed Racer vid is just a hliarious and highly sexy (NSFW!! NSFW!!) vid with Kara as Speed Racer and Lee as his/her girlfriend Trixie. The cartoon voiceover sounds are just sidesplitting and the hard driving remix beat is excellent. This vid has an interesting pacing to it where it escalates and becomes super-fast at certain points and BQ keeps right up with every switch in the music. Mostly though, it's just so funny and hot you just have to watch it for the lulz. This is SO difficult, because I have so many favorites, and they tend to change depending on my mood. Anyaway, one of my all-time favorites is "Surrender". The editing is flawless and Dido's "White Flag" is one of my pilots personal anthem :)

And another one I love because it never fails to put me in a good mood is "Strong Enough." It's an upbeat vid with no finale scenes (the field ones, I mean, there are some flashback bits, but I love those). This is all about pilots being awesome, and sexy and kickass and sweet :)

I love the vid Surrender! The song White Flag is my K/L shipper creed. "I will go down with this 'ship." Never ever surrender on Kara/Lee. Nevah. :-)
