Hello my fine K/L shippers! 

We're starting a brand new project here at no_takebacks that will hopefully drum up a little fun and excitement EVERY DAY on our flists. We love the rewatches and the afterparty threads so much and we want to keep that ball rolling and those squees squeeing. SO! Every day we'll open up a Daily Pilots Post where you can come and talk pilots (or anything else that's on your mind!). Think of it as the  equivalent of a shipper treehouse! Where we can DANCE THE DANCE OF JOY WITH NUMFAR!





To help drum up excitement, every day we'll post something inspiring and pilots-related. It might be a vid, or some screencaps, or a snippet of fic, a poem or a piece of music that brings our kids to mind--whatever it will be, it will be pilots related. And you can feel free to add your own gifties in the comments!  I hope you enjoy our new Daily Pilot Posts! I look forward to squeeing with you all!

Also, I meant to say that I think this daily post thing is a fabulous idea! I can always use some daily entertainment while at work, and this way I can just keep refreshing the same page for a quick update rather than scouring my f'list when I should be, say, working on an index on Greek lighthouses, for instance. ;) Thanks for setting this up, Tara! Let me know if you ever need help keeping it going; I'd be glad to assist!

Yay! (You could also track the post and get updates in your email...) I think if people like the idea and are still tuning in and chatting at the end of the month, maybe we can switch off? Other people can "drive" for a month or two-week periods or whatever?

This one is actually kind of an elaborate post just cause it's our first. Future days will probably just see one pic or one embed or one fic snippet/link, etc. So it'll be really easy to do, nothing too time consuming.

We could set up a duty roster using the callsigns, so at least one person is posting here a day. Everyone's gotta fly their CAP.:) Maybe a month (or whatever the number of people are) of individuals posting about why they love Kara/Lee. Some would be pictures, some essays, perhaps some lymrics...

Just a thought. And thank you for doing this.:)

Well, I'm not sure EVERYONE would want to participate but I like the idea! I'm committed to kicking off the first month just so we can really be sure to keep it going for a good amount of time at first. And hopefully folks will stick with it and we can poll (everyone loves a poll!) to see who would be interested in signing up for future days/weeks/months?

I'm happy to sign up to (though maybe I need a wingman as well, since I'm not 100% sure I could do a daily post for a month.) ALWAYS happy to meta or post pictures, however, though I don't know that I've got any quite as nice as LEE'S ASS! Ahem!

I'm actually kind of thrilled and surprised so many folks want to take a turn. Maybe we can switch off weeks? It's not too hard to find 7 pics or vids or fic snippets or songs or whatever and have those ready to post.

Tuesdays since we're doing the rewatches I thought I'd use episode centric stuff. Like whatever I post for tomorrow will be related to Sacrifice maybe...

Maybe we'll throw up a signup post soon.

I ALWAYS insisted that he wasn't wearing underwear in "Colonial Day" and now I have my proof. And the idea that Lee commanded the Pegasus without underwear is strangely pleasing to me :D

Oooh, I like that idea too! We could have signups and then make up the duty roster. Make the mission...whatever the code for "volunteer" is. :)
