Its so sad, Kara and Adama. He was so great and forgiving and approving with her here. Why not after New Caprica?

i don't know, but i like to think he just didn't really have the whole picture...although it seems Tigh's missing eye would have given him a bit of a clue even if he didn't know about creepy captor!Leoben...

K does seem to sometimes need the tough love though...and i can't complain b/c i love the hair chopping scene...

I don't think this is what she needed after NC, really. Here she feels guilt and needs forgiveness. After NC she is filled with rage and kinda does need to be knocked on her ass to bring her to her senses. I might be one of the only ones who saw that scene as "tough love" rather than heartless rejection though. ;)

I know, I used to think it was a "tough love" not a 'throw you out of the house' ultimatum at the time. But watching the subsequent episodes, I got to thinking he really did push her out of the circle a bit and tried to close his heart to her (only for him to regret it only after Maelstrom). They have very few time stogether between the chair and Maelstrom, and always is was Kara being submissive, apologetic, tentative, reaching. I just felt a real loss of a father figure for our girl.
