You kinda almost feel bad that Paul choose him to go after. I mean I get he was dealing in some serious weaponry and that's bad, but why couldn't Paul have just gone after Russians? Well, I guess then we wouldn't have this ep to watch.

Date: 2011-10-14 03:03 am (UTC)I'd watch the TP & JB back story show! Enemies after each other. (It could be almost like Bionic Woman with Sarah & Jaime.) But it all sort of doesn't make sense on the show because Paul was supposed to have been on the case of the mythical Dollhouse for quite a while at that point and then there was something about Russians he was working on too. Yet Martin kept going on about how he was his arch nemesis.
Also - I wish he hadn't beat up Echo like that. It's a bit of a habit for JB characters. Outcasts, CSI:Miami, BSG, Dollhouse. Maybe more I'm not thinking of?

But then out come the weirdly shippy undertones - no wonder NBC apparently told the producers to tone down the slash-y vibe of Sarah and Jaime. (which IMO was stupid, because it's the most fun part of watching them together!)
