bsg_epics is a warm, welcoming, friendly discussion community for all aspects of BSG. We have discussions about canon, inspiration days for fic ideas, community challenges and discussions about writing. Posts go up every day Monday through Friday with opportunities for member-modding on weekends.

Personal Endorsement

During the few months I've been commenting at bsg_epics, I've learned a lot about fandom perspectives on other characters and I've made quite a few new friends. I've also learned more about writing through discussion and through a recent writing challenge that stretched my writing skills. If you are interested in writing BSG fic, discussing canon, and investigating what other fandom perspectives have to offer, this is the place for you.

TBH, I was a little wary of commenting because there weren't many K/L shippers and I was concerned about wank and shipping wars, etc. But none of those exist at this comm (sigh of relief). Since I joined, I have always felt welcome, have never been criticized or called out on opinions and generally feel that everyone is open and kind. It's been a great place to explore how others see the show in a supportive non-competitive environment. I've developed a great fondness for the members of the comm and genuinely enjoy discussing the show. It's expanded not only my understanding of canon, but it's also provided me with a much richer resource for my writing. It's been a lovely experience!

I completely second everything H just said above. BSG Epics is a lovely place and people have been amazing there. Just more proof the BSG fandom is one of the best! *HUGS YOU ALL*
