no_takebacksYesterday's DPP was a confessional post and you all took the idea and ran with it. There's some really interesting secrets and some discussions that delve quite deeply in to characterisation and produced some really interesting meta-ish thoughts. The discussion is still going on over there, and there were new confessions coming in quite late last night/early this morning, so if you have time today please do pop back to that post and join in with the discussions and start new ones. It's been absolutely fascinating reading them.
Today's DPP is Song Lyric Prompts Saturday. This is absolutely not the same thing as song fic but rather an opportunity to use a line from a song as a prompt for some fic.
Rules:
I've envisaged this as a sort of all weekend thing, so please do keep checking back :) I'll post a couple of prompts to get you going :)
Dancing to some beautiful music
Today's DPP is Song Lyric Prompts Saturday. This is absolutely not the same thing as song fic but rather an opportunity to use a line from a song as a prompt for some fic.
Rules:
- The prompts have to be a lyric from a song
- It would be nice, but not necessary, if you could include the artist/title in case someone wants to go and look up the song in question
- You don't have to include the lyric in your fic, just use it as a jumping off point, though you can include it if you feel it fits in
- There is no limit to the length of the fic
- The fics can be set in AU
- If your fic ends up being R or NC-17 rated then please show that in the comment title

For a long moment, Kara stands aghast, but the alcohol and memories seep back. Catching eyes with Lee as he sat with Dualla. Drinking with Sam. Then sidling away as he chose barroom pyramid over his wife. She leans into the wall, slipping like the ground is dissolving beneath her.
Then a hand takes her arm. Too rough to be Sam. Too gentle to be help. But she can’t bear too look.
“Hey,” Lee whispers. “I thought about it. I left.”
It would be better if she was sober, but she’s pretty sure she wouldn’t have the guts to do it without the liquid courage coursing through her veins. The kiss is wet and sloppy, public and more than little obscene. He opens instantly to her, and Kara gasps into his mouth, “Want you now.”
“Come on then.”
Kara has no idea where they’re going to go. She follows though. They wind through the ship hand in hand as if Lee doesn’t care who sees. And he must not care because he pushes open the hatch to his quarters and pulls her inside. Dee’s things are still everywhere, but Lee’s laying her out on the bed, grinding against her hip and stripping her tanks and bra. He takes a nipple into his mouth and Kara quits caring.
Instead, she toes off her boots, begins tugging at the buttons of her pants. Lee shifts to play with her other nipple enabling her to finish wriggling out of her clothes. She shivers as his still covered erection finds her engorged clit. He rubs until she’s begging for relief. “Gods, Lee. Oh, gods. Get your frakking clothes off.”
He jumps up from the bed, salutes and strips. He’s beautiful aroused for her. She giggles as his cock bobs towards her wet heat. He crawls up her body kissing and murmuring until almost without warning he’s sliding inside her. He thrusts slowly at first building quickly until Kara can’t catch her breath and Lee’s groaning with every push.
A change in rhythm tells her that Lee’s close. She leans in and sucks that spot on his neck the one that drives him wild, and he’s chanting her name, “Kara. Kara. Kara.”
Then he snakes his between them, flips her clit like a switch. And it’s everything. Everything she’s been waiting for, wanting since they last spoke, since the dance, since before the dance. It’s dizzying the way her thoughts and orgasm twine together taking her to some other more perfect place.
“Want you always,” he breathes as they’re coming down. Kara curls into his arms. Home finally.
