Well, that's all folks! It's been amazing fun hosting this week's DPP, and in honour of Sunday laziness, I thought I'd just leave you with a few reasons why this fandom, and this community in particular, are absolutely the best. That, and a little warm-fuzzy-inducing piloty pic :)

1. You have amazing taste. Well, it does take that to like BSG in the first place. But week after week, you write and rec the best things about pilots, especially post-canon, which leads me to my second point:
2. You make fandom less lonely. While some shows have endings that make everyone want to throw sharp objects at the creators' heads *coughLostcough* and BSG was definitely one among those, I really, really appreciate the fact that some of you guys actually stuck around after your own disappointment and decided to celebrate what was awesome about these characters - and this OTP - we all love so much. And that you've kept it going for us newbies who might have come in late but still feel the pilots love as much as ever. Fandom has done so much to soothe the sting of canon for me, even if it can't get rid of it entirely - that and it's nice to share the squeees and the sobs.
That's just two reasons, and if I tried to type out all of them I'd be here all night - though you should of course feel free to poit out anything I missed out. But thank you everyone, and I hope you're having a good weekend!
PS: One last rec: more BSG gen than piloty, but Mark from MarkWatches is currently watching BSG for the first time ever - and his reviews are usually highly entertaining to read. Anyone who has time to kill or just likes watching someone turn into a show fanboy for the first time should head over and read him (he's only got as far as Colonial Day, and has a v. strict no-spoiler policy).
