I would prefer a Saturday night (the 2nd) for the Home Extravaganza, honestly. I believe it would be an easier way to also make sure we get a bunch of the international shippers over here so we can all have the merry making in place.

Reality is, if we keep it on a Tuesday night, I won't make it. And I will be very very sad.

Because it is, afterall, all about me. :P

After the holidays, even though I moved cross-country to get away from my family, and refuse to fly during major holidays, because it's all about me, and how I have enough shit to do just for my husband and daughter. Therefore: Sat. Jan 2 sounds absolutely fabulous to me! (Caveats for 8PM PST/4AM GMT starts, etc.)

LOL. Wow. I totally didn't review what I said. I meant I do want an 8PM PST start. I don't really like the 7:30 start. I'm always left scrambling to get the episode and computer cued up.

Oh, there's absolutely room for a Home I/II rewatch! What we normally do is we cue up the episode and watch it, commenting to the liveblog thread. Then we all mosey on over to the afterparty thread at the LJ of whoever's hosting that episode. :)

Dudes, I come back and check out the rewatch and find out that it didn't happen ?? And there was no afterparty? Oh, the sadness of it all.

I like the normal rewatch on Tuesday nights -- weeknights work waaaay better for me than weekends as a matter of course -- but if we're going to do an epic Home I/II rewatch then I'm fine with doing it over New Year's weekend.

I can plan ahead for Sat Jan 2 for this special occasion because every once in awhile I can put others' needs ahead of my own and be all flexible like that. And I'm one of the people who can't make it during the week next week due to family so I should just suck it up, nes pas? (as long as the regular rewatch stays on Tuesdays though...tolerance only goes so far!) :)

I think Sat Jan 2 would be a great day for the Home I/II rewatch (I'm thinking we should combine 'em) and then we return ourselves to our regularly scheduled program. :)

I tried...I promise...but I cued up the epi and saw K/S together...and it was all quiet in K/L liveblog shipperland and so I went back to wrapping presents. I completely vote for just watching Kara stab Simon and then skip to Home I/II.

It would be even better if we could watch Kara stab Sam, but I guess that's too much to ask. It's so interesting watching these early eppys knowing what we know about the final 5 now. It actually makes my heart hurt for K/L even more.
