Oh! I forgot this is the epi with Kara's dad and Hera, etc.

I never was certain if he was supposed to be Kara's dad or not because she doesn't seem to indicate she recognizes him, but that seems to be the general consensus.

Kara recognizes him right at the end. Where just like her younger self she "blows out" his finger.

They've got him identified as Slick on BattlestarWiki, did I miss her calling him that?

She doesn't call him that. That's what it said in the script.

Side note: Did you know they used the same girl to play young Kara as they did in Maelstrom?

Well, yeah. That and/or he's Daniel, which some people also have theorized is Kara's dad (in fic, I mean)
