Happy Mother's Day! Instead of the usual discussions of mother-child relations or kid fic, I though it might be fun to prompt something different today. We've discussed before how pilots act like Mom and Dad to the nuggets often...and invariably someone will point out that, of course, Lee is the mom in that scenario. ;) So the prompt is: Kara teases Lee about being Mom. maybe she even gives him a Mother's day gift. ;) or go crazy with any Mother's day hijinx you choose!

And so it is that Lee becomes mother hen to the nuggets. How it happens he is certain her can place the time and date and place. It's the moment she decries herself god. It's a nice little gender swap she has for them. She is the authority on flying, her word is not only gospel but carved in stone – if they had any, and so along the way he becomes mother duck, with an attendant group of ducklings. He rues the day she made the joke about him being a mommy though, right about when he wakes up and sees the bunk room upon opening his eyes.

The gods only know how she has done it, but there is pink and white streamers all over the place and the room looks like a baby shower, or what his nightmare version of a baby shower might be like. There are balloons – and where in hades has she dug them up from – and cards and pictures. Oh Lords the pictures, he has to burn the pictures. He is in a dress. He begins ripping them off the walls and they are everywhere. He scrabbles and falls over a giant bunny and he wonders when Kara lost her frakking mind, only to come up with an answer of she never had one to start with, milliseconds later.

“Aww Lee, don't you like your mother's day gifts?” He voice carries in the room and he looks in the direction only to realise that she is not alone, behind her are not only their 'children' but there are other crew members and the deck chief. Then there is a flash and all he can think is where did someone get that, but there is always a jester who carries a camera for just such an occasion and Lee can't even begin to decide on anger or embarrassment until he looks down and realises that these are not the underwear he went to bed in. Somehow in his rush to get the photos off the walls, he has failed to notice he is in womens underwear.

“There is no power in this unverse that is going to stop me from exactly retribution for this Lieutenant.”

Kara walks over to him and grins, half way to him she smiles wolfishly and turns to the crowd;

“Now children, mom and dad need a little one on one time together, there is nothing left to see here.” Lee turns puce with both embarrassment and shock as he stares at the shorter blonde in front of him. She turns as the crowd disperses, smiling as she walks.

“Don't think I won't get you back for this Kara.” it's a quiet reminder. But the anger is not there, now there is desire as an undercurrent to his words.

“Oh Apollina,” She grins off his look at her. “Don't you think I was already counting on that.”

Lol. I really thought this was going to be a dream (Nightmare?!) sequence of Lee's. Poor thing, I feel bad for him now. ;)

The image of Lee tripping over a giant bunny is inexplicably hilarious to me. Very nice :)
