I thought she did at first (because, well, INTIMATE) and I am pretty sure I was told that it was her ass. And, GUH, this is the grab that fuelled a thousand rpfs...
I love these two, I really do. Also, ever since that post of yours the other day, I am really keen to read what is happenign to your ice pilots!!!! So I hope that is going well, bb. (as I make every effort to be patient...)
Yeah, I'm relatively sure that's her hips/ass. And that's his chest right before he gets up and I'm pretty sure that's his hand... ;) Watching it definitely makes me want to read about "rehearsal" and "negotiations" and "How far should we go?" OH YES. \o/ (Apollo/Jamie all opening his mouth when they're kissing and adding the tongue. GET IT. Lol.)
(Oh ice pilots! I'm trying to cajole them to get on with the show. I really want to finish it!! Crossovers are hard, yo. :(
Oh I am sure there were negotiations carried out in secret! Weren't there some pics from when they were filming Scar that seemed to show Jamie in a state of, well, *interest*, shall we say? (I thought I had saved some of them but apparently I have lost the links, woe is me).
There is also.... somewhere, if I remember correctly, some caps of the bit in Hornblower where they're about to jump off the cliff into the sea that the comment was made about the actors getting 'prepared' for the big scene. My image search-fu is failing me today though, and I can't seem to find it. But it does indicate precedent...
LOL, it's good to have plans for all kinds of occasions. ;-) I recommend poodle mixes because they are super smart and easy to train. And because LOOK HOW CUTE THEY ARE:
It came down to Gryffindor or Albus LOL. His original name was Mikey before he was rescued so we went with Albie so it wouldn't be too difficult of a transition, although he probably never would have noticed anyway haha.
Please do not shoot me, but BEFORE I WATCHED BSG I had the name Anders shortlisted for two out of three of my boys. (Though neither one got the name). But I recall feeling a 'Yeesh!' moment when his name came up during the series. (Though now, to be honest, I'd probably have different feelings.)
I haven't named anything after Apollo or Starbuck, though I have mentioned Jamie's Bamceps enough that my sweet (but rather gangly) husband has assured me he's going to work on his guns when we start our Spring gym programme. OH! And another fixation... those hip dents? According to D *cough* I have mentioned them SO MANY TIMES in passing that he started describing them as "kags". Trufax. Hee!
So uh... does that count? Renaming a part of anatomy for my personal use?
Anders was on my list for a long time, but it got a twisted look of confusion when I mentioned it as an actual name. Samuel made it to the top 4 names for my son, though really it was the top 3 (of which we used two) and then at, like 7 Samuel.
So uh... does that count? Renaming a part of anatomy for my personal use?
I think it's a great name! (And Samuel too, actually) And just so you know, ALL of my boys have names that people give me odd looks for. Yes. They are all REAL names (all Swedish names, actually) but that's what happens when you've taught as long as me. Every 'normal' name has been taken (by students). LOL
My Norse names were almost all just a little too much. I'm a huge name nerd and have a special fondness for odd but totally legit names. I save them for stories. ;)
I do not envy teachers when it comes to naming. Too many associations. I would die.
I love odd names too but I can never think of good ones for boys! Inquiring minds (who are thinking about having a baby in the next year or sooooooo) would love to know what you named your son(s)...;-)
Sweet :) Sam is my father's name, so I'm partial to it.
I don't name things after my fictional peeps too often (although when I was a kid I named every hamster I ever owned after characters from The Princess Bride. Hamster Fezzik and Hamster Inigo didn't last long, but Hamster Buttercup hung in there for years, even though eventually we realized that in order to be anatomically correct we should switch the name to Hamster Wesley. It didn't stick, though. He'd been Buttercup for too long).
But I seem to accrue fictional associations in real life to a somewhat alarming extent. My husband's first and middle names are, I kid you not, "John" and "Watson." I have been in love with the fictional John Watson since I was, like, eleven. What are the odds on that?
Sadly, my real name is not Sherlock Holmes. But still.
