It's funny, the "god" stuff didn't really bother me back when it was Cylon lore and actually fit the story. It's just the "deus ex machina" that kills me.

I agree, watching Fragged, I felt the angel Six made no sense knowing what we know of Season 4.5. But at the time, and now, this religion mythos makes so much more coherent sense.

yes, I agree totally. to start with it was all threads that might come together but using a DEM is always such a disappointing cop out. It put me off Torchwood when they did it at the end of their first season - and I'd loved it up to then.

the really did handle the religion aspects better in the first three seasons, didn't they, espcially when a DEM never interfered.
