My first thought: How can you be opposed to hot sex? Especially if Pilots are involved?!
(Turns out they were talking about a method of extracting natural gas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydraulic_fracturing), but there you go.)

Date: 2011-03-01 07:47 pm (UTC)Sometimes people will say random things that remind me of BSG and make me laugh and of course they have no idea why. For instance the other day I was telling my mother that I take back any complaining I did about lack of seasons in tropical areas because it sure beats winter and she responds, "Nooo! No take backs, you can't take it back." So of course, I had to laugh. :)

She is tough and spiritual and a top-ranking officer, and she spends years falling in love with the wrong people. She feels both guilt and pride in herself. In the end, she forms an alliance with her old enemies and teaches them how to fight for freedom and begin a new kind of life. She's not Kara, but the connections are there.
